For those who have not ordered Shockwave yet, HLJ has a decent deal on him.

https://hlj.com/product/TKT85488
10,248 yen = 97.00
5940 yen shipping = 56.00

International Shipping has gone way up anywhere you order from, so its best to use the Private warehouse which stores your items for 60days. You need to combine items to make a deal like this worth it. Shipping Shockwave alone is like 56.00 alone.

For example Devastator https://hlj.com/product/TKT83165 is also on sale for 13750yen = 130.00
to ship both Shockwave and Devastator its 8900yen = 84.00

Add Menasor https://hlj.com/product/TKT83172/Sci for 8250yen = 78.00
Shipping all three large boxes raises shipping to 9940yen = 94.00

I'm hoping they reissue Huffer fairly soon. The paint on mine isn't flaking yet but I tried to coat it and somehow managed to mess it up

Sorry to hear that. :duff Aren't Huffer and Brawn getting reissued later this year? I'd like to hear something more definitive from BadCube other than "they are happening too."

Damn, that sucks. I'm not looking forward to the shipping on that Arcadia Roy Focker.

BadCube have said on Facebook that there's going to be some kind of news update this week so you may be in luck.

Thanks, man, that's good to hear. :duff I'm pretty sure Takara will get around to both of them, eventually, but I really liked how BadCube handled both of those characters. So long as all of the major QC concerns are addressed, they'll be pretty easy buys.

Well seems like MP Thrust sold out almost everywhere in the US except for BBTS.

TF Source just put up their pre order if you are looking for a site with free shipping.
https://tfsource.com/masterpiece/mp-11nt-thrust/

Most of the sites I have went to say Thrust will not be heavily stocked so more limited than Ramjet which seems to also be sold out except or BBTS.

I have to say paying 180.00 is a hard pill to swallow. I saw a post yesterday talking about JinBow almost ready to release KO Skywarp. The KOs are priced at 110.00 plus shipping. The KOs are supposed to have die cast and upgraded engineering than the standard MP11 mold.

I guess what I dont understand is why Takara made the decision to make the Seekers Takara Tomy Mall Exclusives instead of regular MP releases. If these seekers were priced at 129.00 then all of us would instantly buy a complete set, and not think twice about a KO for 110.00 even it it has die cast.

Has anyone here gotten the Machine Robo latest releases? How are they?

Worth the money? I'd like to get at least 4, but haven't seen many reviews around.

Thrust is sold out at TFSource. Well, that's very annoying.

I hope that KO Skywarp is of good quality.

When I posted this morning he was up. It was the last retailer in US to put up the PO for him. Seems like he may be under stocked.

As for the KO I need to wait to see a review on him. Rocket punch army on you tube seems to have a good relationship with TFdirect who has the KO pre orders I'm hoping RPA gets a sample in for review soon

I don't know anyone personally that has these in hand, but I did find some reviews.

Fans Toys have announced a delay to Hound due to a QC issue with the wing mirrors that they want to fix before shipping the stock to retailers.

They're going to use a stronger material for those parts after several breakages on test shots.

Nice that they've caught this early and are doing something about it before shipping.

I still have the following Masterpieces for sale in my sales thread.

MP-15 Rumble Ravage
MP-18S Silverstreak
MP-18B Bluestreak
MP-20 Wheeljack
MP-24 Star Saber
MP-29 Shockwave Lazerwave

PM me if interested. Will listen to reasonable offers.

I had no idea it was already coming out.

That's great to hear, one of the YouTube reviewers brought up that very same issue as a point of concern.

This isn't strictly related to transformers, but we have sometimes talked about die cast parts and rubber tires what comes to usually high end tf-toys. Now I for one hate those rubber tires, and some have wondered why so. Just few days ago I found another reason to do so. Not only they can be a bit frail, but there is more.

This all started when I was reading model reviews from a finnish scale modelling magazine. There was review of this one Ford Escort rallycar and the modeller mentioned and warned others that they should carefully paint the wheels before assembly, since the plastic wheels and rubber tires don't really get along together. Meaning that the rubber will eventually melt and soften the plastic on the wheels. This sounded very familiar to me and then I realised that I have actually seen something like this quite recently. For some reason it was just now when this really hit and I started to connect things. I had also heard this before. Perhaps here or in some modelling magazines.

Some time ago I did an inventory about my old toys, since I was going to give some of them to my godson to play with whenever they visit (and hopefully he would leave my collections alone). I dug up my old Britains tractors and farming eguipments from the 80's. I was puzzled and amazed to realize that most of them had wheels like melted. Almost like you wuold have held it above a candle, lighter or touched them with a soldering iron etc. Back then I didn't know what the hell had happened. But now I went to check those again. Seems that the center of the wheel seems ok, but all those parts touching the rubber tires are softened, melted and sticky. Basically the rim of the wheel is in most cases softened and even melted.

Yesterday I also checked some of my old car toys and lego wheel, and seems to me that even though those tractors have suffered the most, many other wheels seems to have a bit similar issues. Mostly a bit sticky rims, but some lego wheels had also turned a bit softer than usually and there was some visible discoloring as well. I only have one old G1 TF toy left that has a rubber tires (Jazz). I was happy to find that he was ok. No stickyness or anything.

There is a hope and I should remind that all of those toys I tested are like at least 20-25 years old and not all were affected, at least not that severely. Though I would rather keep my MP-10 Optimus and Ultra Magnus in a mint condition longer than that. Sure, modern rubber tires can be better than back in the days, but we also have lots of negative examples. However, things like this kind of bothers me, since these "toys" we buy are not cheap and yet you have to be worried if manyfacturers have used some substandard materials. Lets hope that they haven't, but you never know until after some years.

EDIT: "Tire Burn" is the term many use and I found some topics related to this.
