Had Fort Max won I don't think it would have been any bigger than the original as it would have been too expensive to produce.

Star Saber isn't a character I know anything about but it's better than yet another Prime.

I get that he's the face of the brand, but there's been so many toys of him particularly since the Bayformers movies were excreted into existence that I'm sick of the sight of him and Bumblebee.

No, but they're obviously throwing a little bone to a niche fan base, and I'm all for that. As long as G1 just gets the vast majority of the love, I'm good.

I have no problem with what they are doing. Hell, if the result is cool and affordable, I'll probably buy it. Personally, I would have voted for Optimus Primal, or maybe Powermasters Apex Armor Prime. Just curious if there are any strictly G1 people like me. I really am only a fan really of seasons 1 and 2 of the original cartoon, and some beast wars thrown in the mix.

Plenty of people say they don't care or talk about wishing it was G1 (even though Star Saber is G1) but when he comes to market, they'll be buying one too

That Huffer is impressive, love the pic of him rolling out of Optimus' trailer. Great poses in Bot mode as well.

What are some good display cases for MP Transformers? Transitioned into 1/6 stuff from MP TF's recently and the two don't look all too great sharing a Detolf

If it's not series 1 & 2 or the '86 Movie I'm not intrested.

Star Saber may turn out to be an excellent Masterpiece but I'll just see it as an opportunity to save some cash towards something else.

I have no idea who star saber is but if the design looks good, I'll end up buying. I'm a sucker for good mecha designs.
As for what holds up nostalgia wise for me, I'd definitely class the 86 line in that category. My interest waned after the headmasters. That's my cut off point nostalgia wise.

I was just looking into all the Ark crew members, given rumors that Takara wants to do MP figures of all of them. And I came across something I never knew about before. Hardcore TF fans may know about this, but others like me may not. Apparently there was an Autobot named "Hauler" who showed up in one scene:

Just wanted to share this weird bit of trivia. I never noticed that reference in that scene. I probably just assumed it was Grapple whenever I saw it, and never noticed them calling his name.
