I'm a huge nerd for this type of stuff. Unfortunately the new season in Japan for new series look fairly weak.

Fairy Tail, Darker than Black and Kampfer seem to have the most main stream potential. But then shounen always does.

I don't watch much anime, but I did come across these end credits involving flying panties. I have no idea what the show is about.

...maybe he's talking about Dragon Ball GT. That is so mid 90's.

It's called Sora no Otoshimono(What Fell From the Sky)....the anime's fairly new......as for the flying panties sequence, err....

agree! ninja scroll is hands down my favourite anime movie. even better than miyazaki stuff (with d exception of "grave of the fireflies" but i love that one for totally different reasons).

and the female demon with snakes coming out of her err... lady parts is so friggin sexy. in a twisted kinda way.

i always wondered what a live-action, gritty R-rated version of ninja scroll would be like. NOT a hollywood remake though, an asian production...

Me too, love this movie to death! That bastard Tessai scared the living crap out of me the first time I saw this in '94ish!...I still pop the movie in the dvd from time to time!....anyhoo, have you seen this movie!?...I prefer the animated series better!

yeah, imo shinobi the movie's just alright. some pretty faces and decent action scenes but nothing exceptional. found some parts a bit cheesy. my gf at the time kinda liked the romance stuff though...

I thought that movie was pretty good. The fights were pretty cool, but the love story really slowed it down a lot.
