I actually enjoyed AVP 2010, but it wasn't really true to the movies. Never understood why game companies feel they have to use the AVP designs or give their Predators two wrist-blades. That's just a little example, mind you. Still great to get a new game after all these years, so I wasn't complaining.

I'm more excited for Colonial Marines since it looks like Gearbox did their homework on it. Finally, an "Aliens"-based experience without the artistic license that's been showing up lately. The extra gameplay and co-op ideas sound fantastic, too.

I enjoyed AvP 2010, I loved the space-jungle idea and everything, but something just wasn't right imo.

I've been playing my all time favorite a/p game lately (avp2), and it's just so much more enjoyable.. The story, the atmosphere..

I can't see us getting any merchandise from this game...

I really hope the game is better than AvP 2010 was.. AvP 2010 seemed so, short and simple..Idunno.

Yeah it was pretty short for a game that has free different story lines.

And was VERY easy even on hard all you had to do was master the block system.
Still playing as the alien was way more fun than the PC versions imo.

NECA might do some figures but doubt it.

would be nice to get a revamped aliens line from HT

I agree with the Alien gameplay comment. I felt much more Alien-like in AvP 2010.. The way it moved, attacks, everything.

And I think that's a big part of the problem. The fact that it was so "easy".

Idunno, I just hope Colonial Marines turns out great.. And I really think it will.

What did you expect from a game that was pretty much aimed at the kiddy audience.

Still worth playing, just for the fact that it's ALIENS related.

that's why this Colonial Marines game should be pretty cool.

It may have been marketed at the teens who are more familiar with AVP and AVPR but that is no reason to make the game so easy.

I mean if I set it to hard thats what I expect.

I loved playing the alien in it because AVP2 on PC was a pain in the arse.

I hated the whole couch jump BS.
WAS still a good game for its time though and bloody challenging

I'd love to play it on PS3, but then I'd have to buy a PS3.

I have the same control issue with Dead Space 2

The way you have to line up with save points and the like really annoys me at times.

Man I loved the dead space games.

play them with head phones on. the whispering in the background is freaky

Hope Colonial Marines has that kind of atmosphere and is a s nerve racking
