It really is a great piece. Photos as usual don't do it justice. Knowing that it is taken directly from Giger's sculpt makes it really special. Too bad he didn't sign it. The paint app leaves a little to desire though.

Nice photos. What are the dimensions (height, width, length) of this piece?

The HCG website only mentions that it is 21 inches long. I was hoping for the other dimensions...

Always wanted an Alien Derelict Ship statue as part of my Alien collection. I saved $150 on this piece as part of HCG's Black Friday sale. I think it's a pretty impressive piece in-hand. Sorry for the somewhat crappy pics... Wow, that is an incredible collection you have there Ascello!

Actually, apart from the Queen diorama and the life size Warrior bust , I believe you may have pretty much every Sideshow & Palisades release!

You even have the Attakus Eggs, these are rare nowadays - I was lucky to find them recently for an very good price.

And the Diamond Select Aliens wallburster!

Again, incredible collection. And yes, the HCG Derelict is a very good piece.

Thanks tchalikias! Actually, I do have the Queen diorama on the shelf just above the Queen bust...I just couldn't fit it in the photos (unfortunately, I don't have the life size Warrior bust, however). Congrats on finding the Attakus Eggs...they are one on my favorite pieces as well. While not perfect, the HCG Derelict Ship is a worthy addition to any Alien collection, in my opinion.

Had it barely eight months and its disintegrating along the seams. Initially thought it was one large piece. But the ship is apparently glued onto the base. Large holes have appeared under the three main portals we all know so well from the film.

Would be great if I could get the two pieces apart so I could repaint the ship to match Giger's paintings. Maybe another eight months and it'll just lift right apart.

Great photo, Lord Freezer! Assuming that's one of the little Kotobukiya big chaps, you've managed to make your diorama look way bigger than it really is.
