Adding real (or faux) hair to a head sculpt

I'm hoping to add some real looking strands of hair onto the Joker 2.0 sculpt, wanting to get an effect like one of Adam's or MRM's.

Anyone have any tips on this?

Thanks Georgie for the link, it helpful, but all I could find was a tutorial for doing a bald head.
If anyone has anything else relating to adding hair to a head that also has sculpted hair that would be awesome!

need to take/trim the hair(sculpted). I'd also use tibetan lambs wool, has the perfect curls at the end. To colour the hair use felt tip's or acylics. I also would recomend trying/practicing this first of wool not on the head.
