This show is hilarious! I wasn't sure if I would like it, but the comedy is great and Kat Dennings is delightful as usual. Loved her in Nick and Norah's Infinite Play List.

Wiki Synopsis:

Set in New York City, the series chronicles the lives of two waitresses in their twenties—Max (Kat Dennings), who comes from a poor working-class family, and Caroline (Beth Behrs), who was born rich but is now down on her luck—working together at a Brooklyn restaurant. The two become fast friends and build their dream of one day opening a cupcake shop (for which they need to raise $250,000), although they can barely afford anything with the pay they receive at work, and must continually find ways to make ends meet. Among those working with them at the restaurant are their boss, Han Lee (Matthew Moy); Oleg (Jonathan Kite), an upbeat Russian cook; and Earl (Garrett Morris), the cashier. At the end of each episode, a tally shows how much of the $250,000 goal they have earned so far.

Here is a link to the pilot. It's a 30 minute spot. Check it out if you have time. 2 episodes have aired so far.

Meh. Watched both, but until the later half of the second, it wasn't doing much for me. I'll give it another week though, to see if they get their legs.

I love humor, but it seems every word coming out of Denning's mouth seems like she is trying to be funny.

My wife and I like the show. Just not sure if it will make it past season One. We both liked that show with Jenna Elfman who got pregnant to the much younger guy and the One with Jason Biggs and Sarah Chalke. Kind of bummed when they were both cancelled after the First season.

IT's something I'll watch or download and watch when nothing else is going on. Planned on checking it out anyway simply because Kat Dennings was in it. Same as the "New Girl". Was going to check it out cause I'm a fan of Zooey as well.

Currently the ratings for it are good. 11.6 million which was more than how I met your mother. So I am hoping it stays that way.

My God I wanted to like this show. I really did. I like Kat Dennings and the promos looked mildly funny. After watching both episodes, I can't be sure it's a comedy. Spots where it's supposed to be funny are falling flat and I can't seem to give a damn about either one of them. I took it off of my DVR recordings already and if I remember next week I'll tune in for one more viewing but man I would be shocked if this gets to episode 5.

i watched the first episode only for the fact that kat dennings was in it. anyway, i found it pretty bad. i didn't laugh once and i didn't like how it was trying for a joke every other line with that stupid laugh track.

it is a funny show. I don't think that if they were really that broke they could afford to live in brooklyn though, and being from there I think I know whats what.

Whatched the first 2 eps and I am digging the show. Amazed at how much they get away with using indirect humor. The 'you've known me a day and already want backdoor' or something caught me offguard! LOL
