This looks so fantastic and you work with amazing speed too.
I agree, wings would be awesome (I mean without the wings it's neither an X or a wing, now, is it?!) . But just as it is, for display, it's a thing of beauty.

Ahhh you guys!!! I will focus on finishing this and then the Falcon. I guess I can always come back to it right.

Ahh Echo Base in the loft!!! I can not wait till it snows!!! I have just done some 5sec exposure shots of all the pretty lights. I will post them when I have finished this batch....

Wow Mark!!!

Those lights look fantastic... the whole piece is just coming together so well. Really a testament to you dedication and hard work.

I do think the side panels will need some lights though; I hate suggesting more work... but I'm sure you'll do it anyway Probably don't need as many, but just a few here and there for effect.

And as others have said I think we all know you'll be building the wings. Just accept it. You don't have to do it now, and you can put it off for a year or two... but I think it will eventually happen

BTW, I love how in the shots of you messing with the lights you go from one bandaid, to two bandaids and finally three bandaids on your left hand

Well never say never but there are so many other cool things distracting me!! I have 3 other builds I am desperate to have a bash at!!.

I will have a look at how many lights I have left
