Hey DG shove us a piccie up of that custom bloke with the axe and cloak he looks cool

He's actually just Sideshows Astronaut Brent from Planet of the Apes, with a Rebel Fleet troopers helmet and Jedi Luke's cape! Viola! Instant Tatooine bloke.

I used to hang with Hells Angels years ago so that wouldn't be too bad but aye i doubt saddle bags, a tank bag and me with a backpack would be enough.
I haven't had a drink in about 4 yrs id smell a pint and fall over, but at least it would be amusing

He looks really cool, i might have to bash my rebel trooper for tatooine when i do my dio, cos unless vaders throttling him he doesn't fit anywhere.

Thought I'd zoom out, and expand the scene. Can't be bothered to set the camera up tonight so Jawas, Bubocular, Wamp Rats etc will have to join the party later!

Hey Crimsonbob it is definatly a perminent thing as I want to have a few of them on the shelf to display my figures in different enviroments.

Here's a few pics that will give you an idea of what I did. So sit back and enjoy.

This is what I basicly started out with after cutting out the opening for the door and joining the back to the base

The door is 2 pieces of 3mm MDF with the top one cut to the shape of the door and the back piece glued into place to make it look thick.

Then affixed to the back.

I then covered the wall with plaster that you would find in the painting section of the hardware store to fill cracks and holes. I painted the ground with a textured paint however it did not look right. I then spayed the door Black and fixed it in place (however it can be removed)

I then gave the wall a wash of brown before giving it a drybrush of very light brown. The door was painted a reddy brown and then weathered till it looked right. The door mat was then cut to place before being spayed black and again weathered.

The sand was layed over PVA wood glue and then left to dry before repeating the process to cover up all of the gaps and plaster was added between the ground and wall to give the effect that the sand had built up.

I didn't take a before shot of the control panel but it was just bits that I had in the parts bin glued to a piece of thick plastic.

I hope that this helps you out as the end result is worth it.

Not as yet just doing a few different drawing to see where to put everything but once I start i'll post a few pics.
