1:6 Monitor, TV,... (Question of using LED panel)

Hi, I want make 1:6 monitor for dio. Will be this good source of light for it, or it will make matrix on display with light spots and shadow lines? I want thin monitor, so display(read it like picture of monitor)really close.

I'd say it might work, with a sheet of white paper (or something) in front, to diffuse the spots.
