The first Star Wars movie had a werewolf, a demon guy, witch looking women, classic big eyed aliens PLAYING IN A JAZZ BAND, a walrus dude, and a big bear. In one scene. Later Boba Fett's screen time was counted in seconds before his clumsy demise. Teddy bears defeated the empire. Let's stop playing like Disney "ruined" things.

Werewolf, demon guy and witch looking woman were not actual werewolves, demons or witches (rather just funky looking aliens) and were only there due to budget constraints resulting in things like halloween masks being used and they were only glimpsed as extras.
Even Lucas wasn't so crazy as to make werewolves devils and magic witches part of his universe. The cantina band was not classic grey aliens they just had big eyes

Lack of Boba screentime and Ewoks definitely are on Lucas and signalled the point he started to fall off the rails. Star wars was not always stupid, it git that way after the OT and instead of course correcting the makers just keep trying to 1 up the stupid. The worst of it has definitely been under Filoni and Disney.

For the first year since 2015, and as long as I can remember... I bought ZERO Star Wars figures.

Not even the sandtrooper and/or dewback? Damn.
