After seeing the movie, I am glad I didn't pre-order any of the character other than K2. No interest in getting an of them.
Do you see dead people?

Do you see dead people?
Spoilers!
Although in truth it's not any more unsettling than seeing Tarkin on the screen or the dead lady that's currently winning on Jeopardy right now.
Ain't nobody buying no $200+ Jyn Erso dolls after they see the movie. That I can tell you.

I am always amazed when i see people who have on this forum for awhile but still seem determined to spoil Movies for others. Is the urge to be a jerk that strong?
Spoiler:It still bothers me... that she was another victim of the Empire. Even though her actions made ALL THE DIFFERENCE and she went away a hero... its another StarWars with a bittersweet ending.
Do I want to have her looking at me each day, reminding me of her death? Do I want to pay top dollar for a depressant? Hmmn... Good questions.
Of course, I could see her as a symbol of giving it all for the greater good. Doing the right thing always, even if it hurts. That's the thing with Star Wars. Its always being about a religious belief in the ultimate good.
On the other hand, its just a very well made Barbie... and I'm taking it too seriously. XD
I'm not going to spoil specific deaths, but mainly by the wording in Episode IV's crawl and the context of having Vader in hot pursuit, I knew not many were going to make it.
Regardless of survivors or casualties, this is why we have ROGUE SQUADRON in TESB. It's something no one forgot.

Too bad Rogue One don't have anything to do with later Rogue Squadron.

I'll give you that; but I generally focus on the military aspects of Star Wars. Naturally, the Force and the Jedi are the primary elements against a military backdrop, but I prefer stormtroopers and starfighters -- or rather, a much higher ratio of the aforementioned -- to the Jedi, whom I prefer to be used sparingly and not explained too heavily. One reason I prefer the OT to the PT, which was too Jedi-heavy for my taste.
Is there a current, NON-LEGENDS, canon explanation for the callsign "Rogue"? Because if there isn't, I'm going to go with a homage to the heroes aboard Rogue One.
Spoiler:Well I'd be the first one to volunteer for the squadron named after the group where every single person died.

Spoiler:If I'm not wrong, Rogue Squadron was sortied during the last act. They were already a squadron in the movie.
