Yep, I've got the same issue with my helmet. Just an absolutely tiny rough spot above his brow.

That's reassuring to hear it appears to be common. It feels to the touch like a piece of plastic where the flash was removed but not properly sanded down. I'll just have to live with it.

(I just ordered the regular specialist DT from Timewalker 20 min. ago.)

I am glad I cancelled mine - two is enough, but I do get the temptation! Deathtrooper design is pretty awesome, and HT knocked their sculpt out of the park.

Did the plastic container rest on that area?

I think it did but it's not a scuff type blemish. It's more of a raised blemish.

Arrived today......stand is a bit too small but nothing unexpected from standard Specialist version ......oh except no Krennic announcement yet.

You've got to take another one with the same poses but with the light-up features on.


Saw this figure in person yesterday and I will definitely be placing an order.

I thought I could pass and perhaps get one later on, on sale, but if there is only one to pick up, this is the one and I don't want to miss out.

I love how the Stormtrooper doll is just like those old fashioned dolls that had the elastic strings running inside the limbs. A nice touch from HT.

The glossy black armor and helmet just ooze coolness.

Base is so small it kind of demands the leg up pose, I may use it to go with Obi-Wan as I have him next to Yoda. Thought about cancelling this figure a couple times but glad I didn't, it's really impressive.

Mine too has a couple of tiny indentations/mold marks on the centre of the brow..but it's only really noticeable under overhead lighting

If you have the regular and the specialist already, is it worth having the deluxe to complete the set?
Do the regular DTs ever wear the helmet without the scanner thing on the side? Wondering if you could swap heads with the specialist and give him the long rifle that comes with the regular (and the Deluxe) and then you'd have the Deluxe DT minus the special stand and stormtrooper doll.

Still hoping for a Krennic to be flanked by these guys....

I don't remember anyone saying this on the original. Maybe it is a different helmet due to the inner light, so the mold changed.

I've got to pick up a Specialist. Waiting for the regular to arrive. Still need to order Jyn and K2S0 as soon as I get coupons. I'll wait for a good price break or double RPs on Chirrut Imwe. Still ticked there is no Cassian, Krennic or Tarkin. If they get shown at SDCC I'll start scrambling.

The spot I'm taking about appears on your helmet. I circled that spot in blue on one of your pictures. If you run your finger across there, you might feel some rough plastic:

no brow issues or whatever from what i can see. dont like the rubber suit, similar to the FO troopers. but the light feature is great since it's easy to access. i may actually keep the batteries in there for once. had to quickly unbox him before my 7 week old daughter explodes from her sleeping session.
