Wow Matrix69!

You not only make the figure look great but also demonstrate just how well that suit works as an addition to the OT troopers. I think he fits well beside Vader and on the Death Star setting.
I'm very much looking forward to getting mine.

Vader looks amazing flanked by any and all troopers but I definitely like the look of him being flanked by the Death Troopers. I feel in retcon he probably would want the Death Trooper as he has a high standard for his subordinates. And the DT was the best Trooper we have yet to see.

..This is easily my favourite trooper design since the original trilogy and i love the little nods to vaders costume. My only nitpick is that the helmet should be two-toned..

I agree. 100 percent the deluxe should have all the weapons plus the added base and trooper doll. I mean it's a "deluxe". I'll try and find that blaster as well.

If they end up releasing Krennic, I might buy 1 of each Deathtrooper. Do you guys think they will be around for a long time like the First Order Troopers and warrant a free shipping discount down the road?

Hard to tell. If HT learned from TFA, there might be a lot less RO troopers in circulation.

Is there a difference between the specialist regular and deluxe version other than the base and stormtrooper doll? Are the weapons also different? If possible, I want to get just 2 Deathtroopers instead of 1 of each but are they each different?

Does the regular have all the weapons that the two Specialist sets have? It almost seems like if you put the pauldron of the regular specialist onto the normal deathtrooper, you'd have a deathtrooper specialist with all weapons. I'm not sure if that rifle from the normal specialist is the same as the normal deathtrooper secondary rifle. Trying to figure out the combos on each to see if HT tried to do a cash grab by switching one or two parts on each in attempt to persuade buyers to buy one of each.

You can visually tell the differences:

DeathTrooper specialist Deluxe and specialist have the pauldron and the vest (which includes thermal detonators) and left shoulder ammo pouch. Differences is deluxe has the range finder helmet and they have different rifles (DLT-19 for Deluxe, EE-11D for regular specialist). Both come with the Se-14r light blaster. Bases are different and deluxe has the trooper doll.

The non-specialist trooper has all 3 weapons mentioned above. Does not have the pauldron, vest or ammo pouch. Helmet is the same as deluxe specialist (helmet with range finder).

I personally think the Deluxe should also have came with all 3 weapons. It is "deluxe" and I know the base and doll make it that, but I think all weapons also would constitute a deluxe deathtrooper.
