I got notice from Sideshow today that my final Deluxe Deathtrooper payment has been pushed back to late May, it seems Sideshow won't be getting these in until May at the earliest.

Yeah nice Creasy. That rock is looking a bit plasticy. Might need to weather it a bit when mine arrives.

Only another 13 days and a bit and Celebration will be here. Am sure there will be more announcements for Rogue One figures there ! Or leading up to it.

I get the whole "special" base thing thy're going for, but I wish even 1 of these 3 would come with matching bases, it drives my OCD a little crazy.

The regular Specialist and plain Death Trooper come with the same basic base. Only diffference is that the Specialist comes with a sticker that you can put on if you want to.

Nice one creasy! It's a great figure.

That was my original plan, with hopes of Krennic.

Now... I may just put K2 in with my only two TFA figures -- Ren and Jakkutrooper -- and call it a day.

Well I decided if Hot Toys aren't going to make all the characters there's an easier, and cheaper way. Even got Space Monkey !!

Yeah I know. Can only get him as a custom for $20 plus $13 shipping ! Thought that was a bit too much for a Lego figure. Plus I 'd have to give up a spot. If anyone I guess the rebel trooper would be the one....

Sorry for the late pics, had to go out. Some quick pics. I love this figure, it's hard to find a bad pose. Had to do a bit of futzing with his pauldron, it sat to high straight out the box, just had to take the head off and push it down the neck.
The batteries were easy to install, I don't know why anyone would have a problem?
He's got great hands that hold everything really nice & tight. Stormtrooper doll is awesome with its elastic string inside-it's actually surprisingly poseable!
Articulation ain't that great, it's a bit stiff but you can still get good movement out of it. The base is a bit shiny reckon it could be to emulate rain but could do with being dulled down a bit. The weathering on the weapons is just as good as the figure itself.
So glad I got it!

Does anyone know if all the Death troopers have weathering? I'm kinda bummed on the Deluxe version because I was hoping it was all clean.

Thanks guys,
He is really impressive, he's is pretty tall and has great presence on the shelf. I love the pose of him holding the doll and it was really easy to get that with him.
I'm pretty certain now that he is out there are no clean versions of the death trooper armour though.
But trust me my photos don't do it justice!
Only thing is it makes me want to get the regular one now
