Think I may just get the Specialist from SS tomorrow, preorder the regular Death Trooper and then pick up a loose Stormie doll off eBay. That way I'll have both rifle styles as well as helmets with and without the rangefinder.

I'm just itching for a new figure and don't feel like waiting months for the deluxe.

Good plan IF you get two.

I only want one, so I'd go Deluxe and grab a loose gun off ebay.

I'm thinking maybe to get this one and be done with it. The Death Troopers were best when they were a simple matching squad with Krennic -- no sergeant pauldron or leader. Just their creepy whispers.

I've also heard from owners that these guys look best when de-specialized... whatever 'specialized' is supposed to mean.

These guys still feel a little pinheaded for my liking. One of the best shots I saw was of Enzo's DT next to Maul, who arguably has a smaller head, so maybe next to Krennic they'll still look great, but next to regular Stormtroopers the helmet looks a bit squished.

I was going to try and stay away from non Sith Star Wars stuff, however, liked the design of these guys enough I'm gonna toss in a preorder for one.
Would look great with a Krennic, if he's made.

I enjoyed krennic too and think he would make a good figure.

They gotta make Krennic. His looks is just too good to not be captured in figure form.

Loved the movie...a multiple-viewing one for sure...

Really dug these troopers....they looked sleek and menacing. Had to spring for one...

May pick up the deluxe one too. Count me among those hoping HT produces a figure of Director Orson Krennic. Two of these troopers as his escort would make a fantastic display...

I caught that too...but I think that was part of the character. Constantly driven and maneuvering. A little frazzled...a contrast to the sharply pressed and perfectly appointed Tarkin who is quite literally nipping at Krennic's heels.

Considering the character, a neatly pressed and perfect cape would almost look wrong....

I hope HT doesn't match Krennic's cape too much to the movie. His cape in the movie was kind of crummy and wrinkled all the time.

I kinda like the cape during the opening sequence, Superman's cape was nothing compared to that.
