They're making them all diecast now. Which makes sense considering they're going back and re releasing older armours as diecast. So they may as well only make diecast new armours from now on. Of course this doesn't include the Hulkbuster for obvious reasons.

So making them diecast just adds to the cost. This should not be more than $350 from SSC though.

Eh. Looks good. I like the design and actually think it's cool to have the thruster attachments but it definitely makes the figure look more toy-ish when those are on. I'll probably get the SH Figuarts version or something else that's a lot cheaper.

Geez, I see a lot of people leaving this behind for the CW version if it's going to take that long to be released.

And they probably won't see that one until mid-late 2017... Hurry up and wait.

Then we'll be up to Infinity War soon and a whole new suit lol.

Q3 2016... We'll be past Civil War and closer to Dr. Strange by the time we see this.

:gah: Hot Toys needs more man power.

Or better competitors. :clap

Re: Hot Toys - MMS300D11 - Avengers: AoU - Iron Man Mark 45

True that :)

I don't know about anyone else, but I would have preferred an Ultron sentry torso, rather than Ultron Prime, considering the 45 never faced Prime and Prime was destroyed by Ultimate.

Aren't these body proportions ridiculous? I mean is Tony Stark now 11 feet tall? He looks like the engineer from Prometheus:

So I'm guessing they're trying to show that they're going for the more darker red? They have two announcements on their FB page and their official product page for this figure on their website omits the original 5 announcement photos that has the lighter red.

Having had the 1st mark 3, 4 & 6 then selling them. I think il get this one, I thought the film was just ok, too much like the 1st but this armour really seems to capture what ironman should look like in my minds eye.
It's kinda comic booky and cinematic together. Definately gonna get it

How can people want Batfleck without Superman? Those 2 are gonna look great on a shelf together :)

As for the 45, I'm not too keen on the lasers or thrust effects. Thankfully they didn't make the one coming from his reactor, that would have looked awful.

Don't forget Wonder Woman. Those 3 are going to look awesome together!
