If my mask comes off I'm planning to make a custom reveal head.

Seems like they had to make face part in two parts to insert head. Eventually they had to decide on a pattern. And they chose canonic lines. That's the reason we see seam in the bar. Though, I'd prefer a single mold without back reveal.

That's by far the greatest likeness this thread has seen! Though the nose is a little off.
Thank you! This is based off the reveal in the special edition with no eyebrows. I'll improve the nose on V2. Lol.

Silent majority knows it's a solid figure. Many of the people complaining already have previous versions and try to justify the preorder cancels to save $ :lol

Its not a perfect figure but despite the last 10 pages I can't get it to look bad, it's just a solid Vader. How solid I'll know when I got it in hand, not from cellphone reviews online.

Or because it’s just not that good. Perhaps you’re attempting to justify your purchase?

Looking forward to seeing more in hand pics. Perhaps he’ll look better down the line as more people start receiving him and futz him.

Are you gonna cancel, Wor?

No. I'm going to work with it.

As a summary, the inaccuracies are:
1-Tusk angles are wrong. Maybe pulling them out and dremelling may fix, but experienced hands are needed.
2-Upper tusk bar has a seam which shouldn't exist.
3-Shoulder pauldrons seem big. But they are same way in the movie, they just should be pushed under chest armor.
4-Size is shorter than previous Vaders, but this one seem to be correct height.
5-Capes not sewn below, but it is mentioned it was that way in the movie also.
6-Chest box bigger than it should be and fixed. Maybe belt can be pulled lower to give the illusion of space.
7-Dome shape which actually didn't bother me at all.

Once listed, that doesn't seem so bad.

Some quick, straight out of the box, zero futzing pictures (not phone pics). Honestly, on display it looks great. Yes the helmet isn't perfect and the chest box is larger than it should be, but it has real presence.

Honestly, I think this looks incredible. And with zero futz. :clap

it's weird he doesn't have the "long face" in your pictures

Ah-ha!!!!

My biggest problems are:

1) the remnant of the widow's peak, and

2) the oversized chest box (which seems like its been a problem on every HT Vader since the beginning).

Some size comparisons, RO vader has ESB gloves on. Apologies Wor Gar they're not professionally shot. [emoji6]

Oh wow..I guess the dome is different in RO when you see it next to ESB. Did Vader look that much different in ESB :dunno

ESB looks crap when viewed from the front straight on in every single photo. It's like most of the facial features are wrong. when you view him from the side at an angle he looks decent

Rogue One has some inaccuracies but overall better proportioned
