The whole thing looks really cheap.
Looks like Hot Toys rushed this thing.
I thought it was a joke when I first saw it.
I doubt OMG could do this figure any justice if he was still taking pics of HT figures.
Glad I passed on this.

It's a shame Hot Toys got stuck using the same old Star Wars styleguide for the box, they usually have such good designs.

What I found interesting is the packaging. So obviously that black/grey boring design is mandated by LFL, as speculated. Definitely now something HT would do voluntarily, I would think. Hope they are given more leeway on the regular releases, like Sideshow was w/Grievous and Vader.

In regards to the Shadow Trooper proportions, definitely looks 100% better in the pic quoted by Rory. Guessing the others are due to lens distortion. Hard to believe HT would mess that up.
