Yeah a lot of my thinking about whether to PO now or wait is based on how badly I got burned on the Mk2. Not sure if it's fair to dump that baggage on the Mk1 though lol.

I don't remember all the release dates but it seems like several expensive armors will be releasing fairly close together. We got the WM Mk I, Mk III, then IM Mk46 and the die-cast Mark 6.
The prices might keep make people picky, or on the other hand the Mk I might sell out thanks to the Mark 6... It's hard to say, unfortunately.
IM very rarely sell out very soon (excluding some exclusives) the MK45 is extremely poplular and it is still available everyplace. Not to mention this is competing with the new MKIII WM. This will be around a while.

Dont think we can really compare the abysmal release of MkII with the much loaded release of MkI...
Yeah, this thing comes with much more, and the mark 2 had 2 versions which was a little strange.
I don't know if this will sell out, but with the popularity of the armor and the fact that there's a diecast mk 6 coming up, this figure should do fairly well. I can't wait for it.
It just sucks that the age of ultron war machine mk 2 came out then a long wait for the 45.. Now we have the 1 and 3 coming up and super long waits for the 6 and 46.
I already Have a nice koto statue of the mk4, i don't need a HT version once i will have the mk6 diecast.

Could this Plastic Enemies tease be for this? Or the CW MkIII?
According to OSR the MkIII is coming much later than the Mk1. Don't know how reliable that is but I have my fingers crossed.
They wrote "Put your hand down" not too long before that, so it's has to be the Mark I.
He looks fantastic!!!! The definitive WM right there.
Jingo has it up too. The articulation looks amazing. So glad I preordered!!!!!

Yes! PO this at Popcultcha awhile back. Are they fast with getting PO & how long compared to SS shipping?

It's a great figure, and I used to be 100% down for it, but it really is damn expensive. IDK if I want it anymore at that price. Maybe I will get lucky in the secondary.
