I think they are priced right. All four will get preordered as my friend is doing preview night and I asked him to preorder the exs for me. Now how much will the deposit be.

That's the battle going on mentally "if I pass on the 1/4 I can scoop up two 1/6's for the same price" :lol

Don't forget the MANY different poses you can get from HT!
I wish this had more accessory parts like battle damaged, removable chests, air flaps, leg flaps, more joint movements. It just seems rather....plain? For a $600 figure

True about the 1/6 articulation, but this 1/4 is boasting 50 points of articulation itself. :monkey1

I don't envy you in that battle. When the 1/4 scales were being introduced, I thought they would be so awesome. But I instantly decided to stay all in with 1/6 ( Marvel and DC ) and never consider 1/4. And I have no regrets at all.

:exactly:
Same sentiments with you Mike and I agree 1/6 scale is really "the right scale" for high end figures with the right details and articulation"

1/6 is my favorite scale too, though I enjoy a few 1/4's to break up the landscape of my collection. You're all in with Marvel & Dc? That must be some collection you have!

Holy cow! $610 PLUS shipping so you're looking at around $630 give or take. I was seriously considering getting 3 or 4 of these if they came in at $500 or below, but at this price I just can't justify it.

I seriously don't know what PI is thinking with this pricing. I understand that they are 1/4 scale (which I love) and the figures look awesome and are diecast, but they are completely pricing themselves out of the market. Just like with their die cast Superman figure, they will hardly sell any figures at that price.

Well, looks like I'm going to start pre-ordering some Hot Toys. Now if only NECA would start making 1/4 scale IM3 figures....

Seems like only mark 42 has BD exchangeable parts and more head sculpts. Don't really understand why these two suits priced high too (assuming mark 42 costs the same).

Yea. I have every Marvel and DC HT except 9 in my signature. But I have the re-releases of most of them. I really on need Blade and Wolverine Origins.

Saw their display at Comic-Con. What is here so far -

Mk42, War Machine 2, Iron Patriot, Red Snapper, Heart Breaker, and Gemini.

They have the 1/12 scale ones on display too, but honestly, they just look like Hasbro Figures.

I presume the display's figures are still the plastic prototypes?

The prices are ridiculous, the final product better be sharply better quality wise as well as the plastic prototype looks terrible IMO.

Yeah, u would've thought they would have the metal prototypes ready by now for such a big event such as SDCC..
