Oof... can't say this was unexpected.

How have recent silicone(?) costumes from Hot Toys held up? Between this figure and the rest of the HT Flash line, I'm just concerned that they'll all deteriorate/tear pretty quickly, especially if posed dynamically (which honestly is the main reason I'd plan on getting them).

I always thought that one of the defining features of Shipp's 90's was how bulky it made him look: But to be fair, I'm pretty sure Soosoo is basing this figure on how Shipp looked on the Arrowverse Flash (chunkier and less muscle-shading) :

That's an interesting way to gauge a movie. Personally, I gauge a movie based on how good it is at surprising me, and earning whatever emotions it's going for. Rarely do I ever want to see a movie again, and if I do, it's usually because there's something I didn't understand the first time...

I wonder if lens distortion that happens with sixth scale figure photography might be playing a part? That and the hat would presumably be in line with his skull shape, not his molded hair (which is why some Indy figures with hats that fit over molded hair look weird, but look right from some...

For folks noting that the crown of Indy's hat looks too small on the figure, I suspect it might just be the angle that the pictures are being taken. On my second viewing of DoD, I noticed quite a few scenes where Indy's hat was framed in a similar way. Some examples:
