Is this effort dead? I click on the TMNT icon and the page does nothing. I also don't see TMNT listed under the licenses tab.

I did not go all in but am cherry picking some of the Ultimates. I wonder what kind of contract they have with Playmates Super7 has to make this happen?

I'm not worried about it. They are likely trying to make sure there is enough to go around but still appease collectors who open one and keep one sealed. I can imagine they will have a 3 pack rereleased with slightly different paint apps, colours, or accessories.

I am kind of glad to see that full head. Might hint to it being mixed media and be an actual cloth hood. It would be pretty cool (imho) if that was the case and there was a switch to turn on and make the eyes glow red.

I was kind of the opposite. Hard to please everyone! I ordered all four because I wanted Scrag (bat version) and Armaggon. I wasn't sure if I could get them any other way. Will likely sell Danny and mutant Shredder. I will wait to see what Dark Donny looks like before I decide to keep him...

I was grateful for the second release. I see what you mean about the differences. I am often glad for stuff like that since it allows collectors to have a better idea of what they may be purchasing on the second hand market.

Depends on the company and source perhaps? I have had no message from companies where I bought DC statues directly from them (e.g. Sideshow). There is a new distributor for the Diamond solicitations. If the local shop you use does not know that, perhaps try the next closest shop and see what...
