    Coomodel armor repair

I didn't get to observe the repairs I'm afraid, just dropped off the helmet and came back when it was done a few days later. Those purses are interesting but would probably work out more expensive than buying a loose mail from the winged hussar set and still be too bulky to fit under the arm...

    Coomodel armor repair

Back from the jewellers! As expected they weren't sure at first when I asked them to take a look at some model armour, but once I showed them the hinge they agreed it should be straightforward to give it a go. They did a really nice job and as you can see the replacement pin head doesn't stand...

    Coomodel armor repair

That looks gorgeous! Yes, I bought some Cape Cod cloths after reading about them in one of the Mandalorian threads. Your figure looks a lot better with the stock cheapo chainmail removed as well, I see. I bought some nicer mail loose on eBay but haven't made the swap yet.

    Coomodel armor repair

The visor on mine had a broken pin on one side. Like the OP I'm considering taking to a jeweler. Might get a funny look from them when I show them my model knight, probably not something that they get asked to do often. A couple of leather straps needed supergluing as they were detached on...

1/6 Hot Toy - MMS612 - Episode VI - ROTJ: Scout Trooper and Speeder Bike

I guess it would have already been mentioned if someone had; but has anyone swapped out the body with a stormtrooper body or anything other than the Mando Scout? I've just ordered possibly the last Mando Scout loose body on eBay but am now wondering if a stormtrooper would be an even better...

Nice shot, but I think you've got the shoulderpads upside down?

CooModel 1/6 Gothic Knight and Horse Armour (SE115/116/117)

Just ordered mine! I'm hoping the metal for the armour is similar to what they've used for their katana blades; that comes up really nice looking with a cotton swab and a bit of Autosol.

Loose parts for this now up on eBay. Will be interesting to hear people's in-hand impressions.

All Samurai Figures (COOMODEL, POP Toys, IQOModel, ...)

That new Oda Nobunaga looks great, might have to sell my old one and upgrade... I've noticed that some of the recent Coomodel 1/6 figures have been called "Empire Legend" EL123 instead of "Series of Empires" SE123. Does anyone know what the difference is?

CooModel 1/6 Gothic Knight and Horse Armour (SE115/116/117)

Both rider and horse seem to be based on this example from the Wallace Collection in London. It is a pity about the cheap looking chain mail seeing as they made a great looking mail shirt for the Hussar figure. Maybe that was harder to produce than they expected?

1/6 COOMODEL Empire Series - Polish Winged Hussar

It's really nice to see a company covering something completely new like this. If anyone's looking at this and interested but not sure how the in-hand figure would compare to the prototype, I've got a couple of Coomodel's samurai and the quality is just wonderful.

1/6 COO Model DATE MASAMUNE 2.0 (Masterpiece Unique Version)

Photo showing the neck from eBay: I'm not a huge fan of the rooted hair. I'll keep my eyes peeled and maybe pick up a loose Ken Watanabe headsculpt from the Poptoys "Benevolent Samurai" set.

1/6 COOMODEL 1/6 SERIES of EMPIRES (DIECAST ARMOR) - ODA NOBUNAGA(織田信長)

Re: COOMODEL 1/6 SERIES of EMPIRES (DIECAST ARMOR) - ODA NOBUNAGA(織田信長) I've been displaying my Nobunaga with his armour off for a bit and now I come to put him back together I can't remember how to tie the waist belt properly. Can't work it out from the photos; could someone take a pic of the...

Action Figure DAMTOYS: Assassin's Creed 2 - Ezio Auditore da Firenze 1/6 Figure

Agreed. Damtoys sculpt on the Altair figure was basically bang-on, weird they've put so much effort into making it worse when all he needed was a wig!

1/6 Hot Toys Rogue One: JYN ERSO

I spent so long looking at the pictures in this thread before my figure came that now the figure likeness looks right and screenshots from the film look wrong :lol it's overwritten how I see the character in my head. Quite awkward as I'm working on a digital Jyn sculpt now and I have to fight...

    Lighting up HT Rey's Lightsaber

Yeah I'd been thinking of doing the mod for people as a service, but tbh I think the light from this method is so weak that most people will be happy just waiting for the Last Jedi Rey which comes with a light-up arm.

    Lighting up HT Rey's Lightsaber

Thanks guys! It's a pretty simple job to do, on this model of lightsaber anyway. There's already a hole in the hilt for the blade to go into that is pretty much the width you need, just get a 3mm drill bit and keep on digging out down through the whole handle. Hand drill it! I used a dremel the...
