Just read your post. We need to talk about your interest and that almost purchased 1989 car. To answer your question yes - I have a copy of just about every 1989 toy or scale model out there.

I am obsessed with this car. I have this model in 1:18 (x 2), 1:43 and 1:64, a replica house phone and pre-ordered the 1/6 HT model with the cocoon too. But my fav just now is this starting point.... :yess:

Not really a prop or 'collectable figure', but my prize possesion is a hand signed photo of the '1989 Batmobile SFX build team'. Only two in the world :horror

The original 89 was 19' 8" long. Got the info after talking to some of these guys :pray:

The best 'screen accurate interior I have seen is in Jacks bat. he also makes the most accurate afterburner and exhaust tips. All of the replicas (with the exception of two I know of) are based on the Returns car. The 89 had a bigger butt. Jay O shaved 4" off both back fenders to allow easier...

Batmobile is 29" long? That would make it 1/10. Seriously, you could buy a Richmans 89 and mod the cockpit and lights yourself for a lot less than a grand. Then yours would be a limited run of 1 :lol
