I re-worked a R1 mask/helmet for my Empire Vader.
I widened the chin vent and added some custom mesh. I wanted to add the same mesh to the mouth vent as well, but it would involve a complete reconstruction of the whole of the mouth area. It can't really be seen from a distance, or under lighting on my display shelf so i'm ok with it. Besides..
HT are going to re-work the ROTJ Helmet to be the greatest ever, so i've probably wasted my time on this
I sanded down the neck length by a few mm's and then repainted the mask using Tamiya gunmetal spray. I hand painted the black areas. Sanded and rounded off the widow's peak on the helmet as well.
For those interested...the Helmet/mask, body, chest/shoulder armour and boots are from the R1 version. Everything else is Empire.
I still want to make a few tweaks to the belt and the chest box straps, but i'm happy with the results so far
