The head sculpt on this is amazing, as is the paint. The price isn't amazing. But, with the dollar buying less and less by the day: what to do?

Unfortunately, before they took the pictures, they didn't bother to "plus" his outfit much. Lots of wrinklies, tie looks rough. His clothes make it look like he's been on a three day bender.... and just woke up from being passed out on a couch at the Rabbit in Red. If they would've futzed his outfit a smidge before the snapshots, it might've been a little more "wow".

Yeah his overcoat looks a bit cheap. Hopefully thats scaled up on the production piece for that price.

It's a dream figure for me and that is a cracking head sculpt but the outfit is absolutely terrible and unacceptable at this price point, I couldn't have it on display like that so would be paying $200 for the head sculpt.

Hmmm,

There are a couple of eBay listings that I've seen, one has him in stock and the other is a PO. Based on the pics, this is a definite hard pass for me. The clothing and paint apps look like figures I was paying £40 for let alone £200. TOTS have work to do if they're going to justify that price.

The PO pics show him with brown eyes, the prototype had blue. His eyes are definitely blue:

It appears his trenchcoat is so thin that you can see his brown suit through it. That's a bit much.

I doubt it will be absolute garbage, but with the costs of raw materials and logisitic expenses accelerating as they are: corners might have been cut to insure there is a profit to be made. Without clearing a profit: what's the point of producing a product?

Call me crazy but in that auction it looks like the trench is actually SEE THROUGH....

Holy cow that's bad....

That's what I'm tellin' ya (in my Best Lou Costello voice). The pics look like he dressed in the type of material a hanky or nightie are made of. Diaphanous material. I am waiting to see in hand reviews before taking any steps to purchase.

A bit of a let down. Wished he'd taken him out, but can't really sell it as new if he did.
The trench coat definitely took a downgrade. The brown suit looked fumpy on the proto. Production will probably be more frumpy.
TOTS isn't top tier. Once they start pushing $200+ it gets difficult to justify spending the money. I hope I can get it at a discount. Who knows how many are being made and if they'll last until being discounted. I've bought all of TOTS' products well under MSRP, so there is hope.
