Heads up Deluxe Clubber is sold out almost everywhere. If you are waiting, now is the time.

When I mean sold out, I mean at a reasonable price around 300 or so.

I can't believe I am defending Star Ace here, but the figure is priced what it should be.

You are getting a seamless body.
TWO head sculpts
Two sets of clothng.

Looking at the competition, they are gulp might even be a bargain compared to HT and Sideshow...I know they are no HT..but...yeah the cost is not overprice imo compared to other companies.

I am someone who THINK no figure should be over $300 dollars btw.
There’s just a problem with the figure looking horrible with such a long, thin neck.

I agree...terrible...near ruins the figure. I was looking inside the head, and there is no way to lower it unless you drill it.

There were 2 options, create a new phicene body or make the head cavity deeper, and they did neither.

I suspect they didn't want the head and rubber body in constant friction is my only idea or they simply didn't care.

I had some free time and opened up my Clubber Lang and took some quick photos.

I don't see the giraffe neck on my own copy. This is straight out of the box on my new phone, so sorry for the poor quality.

Star Ace gonna Star Ace.

The paint apps look 2008…
Very well be. It looks great in person. I thought in pics the head looked a different color than the body but nope.

I think paint apps are more than fine. Don't really see the meaning behind 2008 as there are Very few black skin tone characters that I can compare.

To each their own I guess, but Star Ace did a great job on this. I am very perplexed about the long neck though, as my own does not have that as you can see in the pics I posted above.

I think this sculpt looks pretty good for Mr.T. The neck looks too skinny for the sculpt though, which is a problem with this particular body. Companies could make adjustments by making smaller sculpts, but nobody wants little sculpts. The real solution is make the bodies taller and make the necks thicker. Overall, I think SA did a way better job on this compared to that Rocky 2 abomination they released a few months ago. I love the Rocky movies, but I will be passing on this line. Curious to see what SlyShop has in the works with KP.

I didn't get Rocky 2 thankfully...but Creed and Clubber were very well done.

I think Sly will only do sculpts of himself and not the Sly rogues gallery.

I didn’t buy it either, but I knew it was going to be a catastrophe looking at the promo pics.
This was posted in the Sly thread weeks ago, so hopefully it’s legit 🙏

what bodies Stallone Shop will go with?

All the figures they’ve produced thus far are fully clothed and did not require an exposed body.

My issue with the seamless bodies is they crack over time in any dynamic pose so often you’re stuck with a museum pose. exposed joint bodies break the “hyper real” immersion but have a better shelf life.

I guess a compromise is to include both detachable seamless and exposed joint arms (to allow for articulation) but then you’d still have exposed shoulder joints.

No clue what they will do for the body on these. Each one needs to be different too 😳 Personally I would probably prefer exposed joints with their signature robes on. Making sure the sculpt color matches the body and that they have the correct size, shape, and height.

I too hate seamless. I don't mind my elbows having joints. I do dislike Bicept, knee and abs joints as they really do break up the sculpts.

They could design bodies for these that don’t look horrible and breakup the sculpt with excessive joints. I mean all we really need for these are the basics. I do like the option of fully sculpted swap out arms 👍

I would prefer seamless joints if there was a way to ensure that they wouldn’t crack/split over time.
Well yeah, that is the ideal look for these, but they can’t prevent them from cracking. SA actually made a body for their King Leonidas a few years ago. Limited articulation, but looks alright in that pic. It can be done 👍

It looks worse than a Redman Toys figure. I can't justify buying this even though I love Clubber Lang. The quality just isn't there for that price. I can even see brown paint on his mohawk at the bottom because they've done such a shoddy job with the paint apps

Typically it's really the cost. Some people are too broke/poor to afford things.

People tend to not be able to afford things and try to find reasons for it. Most likely it's the same with you and Clubber. Probably cannot afford it.

I cannot afford InArt Jokers, and justify it by saying "No 3 figures are worth 2k dollars." People have different finances and typically will lie to themselves with cost vs value depending on their own finances. If each of those InArts were 400, I would probably say it was worth it like I do with Clubber.
