The feet are definitely not small. They’re bigger than the ANH feet. There are short DiD boots but they also offer tall ones. I have two different models of the tall DiD boots. Here’s a quick comparison.

I hope they got the rabid Lothcat that did that to Hans boot.

ROTJ Luke dropped in 2018
Endor Luke dropped in 2019 (Nov so almost 2020)
Pilot Luke PO in 2020 (dropped in 2022)
Mando Luke PO in 2021

So yes, in a 3 year window there were 4 Lukes available for PO or available for purchase. Saturated with Lukes during that time.

I don't think they'll saturate with Ford... but one more, a Bespin Han, yes. But granted, based on the above, likely not until next year.

2025 for Bespin Han makes sense since that is the 45th Anniversary of Empire Strikes Back.

Hot Toys can maximize the PO of ROTJ Endor Han for over year. Wait a few months after the ROTJ release next year, then bust out PO for ESB Bespin Han in late 2025?

Hot Toys really likes to trickle out these OT Star Wars releases over many years - when I first started collecting 1/6 about a decade ago, I thought we'd have the complete line of all the main characters by now. I guess Hot Toys figures the OT is an evergreen product and fans are desperate to buy anything (no matter how long the wait).

With the more recent Star Wars shows (like Mando & Ahsoka), Hot Toys is bombarding us with figures - probably striking while the iron is hot. Who knows if these newer Star Wars installments will still be as beloved and endure years from now like the OT.

no 40th anniversary logo
no mention of Return of the Jedi at all

It’s a very similar promo to the Artisan Anakin figure. Similar base too. I wonder if this was intended to be an Artisan figure earlier in the development.

Thanks for the comparison :duff

I guess the ones I’ve seen were of older model DiD boots then or maybe the pics are just not showing them off well enough. I’d still prefer to see the ones you have on a figure though before buying some, b/c I still haven’t liked what I’ve seen from other collectors who say they’ve used DiD boots for their Han figures. They may not be real leather, but I have preferred the overall look of the HT boots so far which is why I went with the grand inquisitor boots as replacements.

Are the ones directly to the left of the deteriorating HT boots the the officer jack boots with the studs on the bottom of sole or the senior officer jack boot with the smooth bottom sole?

Well placed my order with secretcompass, as they're one of the few other sites that don't charge tax to CA. Probably means I won't get it until a month after everybody else though.

Was going to wait for Kit, but figured I'd miss that brief window too. Lol

Han looks absolutely majestic here.

I actually really dig the trench coat look. Normally wouldn't since his base outfit is iconic but it works really well here. Gives him that bladerunner smuggler vibe.
same here, trench coat look blend well with Endor display.

Impressed he's finally coming out. I know people have been clamoring for him for a long time. I am considering him.

The retailer partners are beholden to only a small allotment that SSC distributes to them.

Sideshow probably prefers that consumers purchase directly from SSC and cut out the middleman.

Got in my PO for 2x Hans earlier this afternoon at Timewalker - planning to cram the extra one in the Falcon diorama.
Oh I am familiar with Sideshow's allocations and squeezing the retailers. I just meant the quick sell through at Timewalker shows the demand is there if they make figures people want instead of junk they have to blowout at 30% off, and offer free shipping. You sometimes have to be fast on some figures as I prefer not to buy from Sideshow.
