I've been waiting on two custom painted/haired head sculpts for over a year. I guess I got screwed. His work was so awesome, too. I guess my TWD Daryls will remain headless.

Yep, sure looks like it. Three Star Wars sculpts for me. The sculptor did awesome work, so it really sucks not getting them. Only have loads of pictures of sculpts I will never see in hand. Can only imagine how much stuff he has now from freaks around the boad.

Someone who is a member less than a year with 1 feedback and doesn't contribute to this community at all wants to call someone who has painted well over 100 heads for freaks for years irresponsible and say he should be banned because of what 2 or 3 impatient ppl say or HIS sales thread should be removed cause he didn't/don't update it and your upset you couldn't get a figure he was selling dirt cheap?

Steven has done plenty of work for me and every time it was excellent and less than half of what bigger named painters charge. i have also waited a year just to have one sculpt painted so a little over a year for 2 PAINTED AND HAIRED isn't really long at all. Hell, i have a $1000+ figure being commissioned by another artist and its going on 2 years now and im fine with that because i know that's how this hobby works and it's not as easy as eating the materials and ******** out a final product the next day. He is a stand up guy and doesn't beat ppl, period. Maybe real life ( Real job, Family, Health, Etc.) interfered with his hobby work and has been too busy for whatever reason but i assure you he hasn't run off to an island with the money you have paid him.
I'm not making any excuses for him, he can stick up for himself, i just want to reassure you guys from what i know of him he is a good guy, and to just be patient and i'm sure the work will be great not to mention faster and cheaper than 90% of the artists on the boards and just as good if not better once you get it.

Aye, I am aware of his reputation (part of the reason I chose him as my painter). It is just that I haven't heard from him a long time, much longer than usual. He always kept me up to date, not so much now. With other members in the same situation, I have gotten quite worried.

maybe you shouldnt spout off at the mouth when it comes to other peoples money!!! too many of these so called "customizers" have gone bad the past 5 years, and always in the thread there is 1 guy sticking up for the bum that ran off with peoples money, only to eat crow at the end when he finaly gets smart and realizes the guy just beat the community.....i have sent him 3 messages and no reply....maybe just maybe he can chime in and message people and let them know all is ok, he isnt gone....whatddya think? maybe thats a good idea....because last i have heard from guys is he hasnt answered anybodys messages..

Woah there Marty, I'm not spouting off about anyone's money.... All I was saying is that someone saying he should be banned or have threads removed because the figure they wanted to buy was already sold, and the thread wasn't updated is plain silly. To the others all I said was from my experience he is a stand up guy and maybe something came up. I'm not saying it's not possible he woke up one morning and decided to split with ppls $. Anything is possible and if that was the case I'd be the first person to say I was wrong. I believe I even said I wasn't standing up for him that he could do so himself, if he chooses to is up to him but once again from my dealings with him I have never had a bad experience or worried about a job and I was trying reassure the ppl who were worrying.

i understand what your saying, i have done a ton with steve, i mean sending 40 heads at once, so i know him well. but he has not been active in over 3 weeks just in log on to the forum alone, he is a nice guy, but nice guys have gone bad by biting of more then they can chew....maybe he has a crisis, but it only takes one message to get the word out to people. maybe you can be the go between him and the guys waiting, i have gotten a bunch of messages from guys asking me where he is? just because i have done alot of buisness with him doesnt mean i keep tabs, and i did try contacting him, not successful. I think guys are getting furstrated thats all, and a simple "hey guys i am still here" post would be good....not trying to jump on you....wich i did a little. i know your just trying to keep his good name, and thats nice of you. just sometimes like i said frustration sets in and it's hard to reel back in once out. I hope all is o.k. with steve, and he comes back soon with good news. until then i think the tention will tighten the longer this goes...nothing on you duke. just the needle is teetering past red...

I agree that a simple message goes a long way. Maybe he did have a crisis, I honestly don't know but if I get any info. I'd be more than happy to pass it along. I hope it's nothing serious and that everyone gets what they paid for.

Clearly something has happened with him. I'm not the only one that has complained about him. People should know that he has become unreliable.

Not responsive maybe but Your the only complaining he should be banned or have his thread removed because your sour that a figure he was selling was already sold. Chances are when a thread is a few weeks old the item is sold, I know 100's of ppl that don't update their fs thread....that's life, no need to cry about it. Nobody is perfect and there are a million reasons he is not answering pm's or emails. And like I said before all I did was give my experience dealing with him and how he is from what I know. That's all, not saying what he's doing is right or wrong. I don't want to see anyone get beat out of money or sculpts.

I'm not sour. I was just stating the experience I had with him. I'm glad I didn't get the DX12 from him because I ended up getting the Armory set.

I personally sent a couple of items to Steve he had delivered on everything I sent him but some hands but after everything he done 4 me and the customs he worked on I just ordered new hands instead so to me it wasn't a big deal I can see how others will be upset if they sent sculpts and didn't get anything and haven't gotten any word from him. All in all he hasn't been posting anything so I hope everything okay with him and I hope people get there sculpts or anything else that is own to them

It’s been nine years since I paid that bum for two head repaints. Do you think I’m still going to get them? I think it’s about time to admit you were wrong. That bum took my money and stiffed me.
