Still, I hope it does well and I hope it opens doors for them to dabble in more premium stuff. Four Joaquins is just…too much for dis boi, but Nicholson? Would I pay $2K for a four pack with Napier, Partyman/Museum Joker, their take on Mime/Parade Joker, and/or Mob/First Appearance Joker? Along with a bunch of accessories and, say, a Parade Float Diorama with lights and a throne? Abso-****ing-lutely.

Did you get the Hot Toys or third party 1989 Jokers?

They are not InArt qualify but you can essentially get all those looks you described (expect young Jack Napier) - at a fraction of the cost of an InArt through a combination of Hot Toys or Mars.

I previously owned the Mime Hot Toys but added the Mob, Museum, Parade and Standard Joker through Mars. This is my Joker 5 pack. :lol

If InArt decides to take on the Batman 89 license, I may double dip.

Yep, my gut feeling is telling me to not make any spur of the moment decisions and wait to see what JND will put up, who knows, it might be better and or offer things this doesn’t, might not, we don’t know yet, but we will.

I’m almost certain we’ll have the ability to choose between the two when that time comes, these aren’t as impossible to find later on than we once thought they would be, they’re too expensive to be so hard to come by, someone somewhere will always want to off load an expensive purchase.
I am intrigued by what the price will be if Kit decides to split the deluxe up though, if it’s tempting enough I may get it.
with JND, hypothetically speaking..brace yourself paying $5,000+ for a set of four figures like this one.

I wont purchase four Joaquin Phoenix Jokers regardless, the brand of which they come from doesn’t matter, too many for me personally. I’d be more inclined if InArt offered the option of red suit + bathroom, or if Kits price on the single red suit Joker is worth it. If JND decides to go a similar route as InArt and offer an Arthur & Joker deluxe, I’d still go with Type A of a single red suit Joker.

So Kit is going to part the red suit Joker only? I already preordered the set with the two figures. Can you please confirm Kit?

How about the bathroom dance figure? If I had to choose one it would be that.

I’m just wondering how the hands would be divvied up, since they’re mostly just bare skintone hands.

How about 4 Joaquin Phoenix Napoleons OR 2 Phoenix Napoleons with 2 Josephines OR 2 Phoenix Napoleons with a Josephine and a Phoenix Napoleon dressed up as Josephine?

He hasn’t went through with it yet, probably going to wait a little bit to see how the po continue to go. He’s cutting orders off Feb 25th so anytime between now and then if he does it. I knew it would upset people who already po, but his sales would definitely increase if he made that an option given the price is reasonable.

Just the deluxe version, splitting that four pack will get messy, would be a lot of left over Arthur’s and hospital figures.

I don't understand why people want the placid Ballerina Joker.

Wouldn't you rather have 'Train Killer' Joker -- deranged, panicked, furious Phoenix
I would’ve liked a swap out sculpt for that.

I love the art aspect of the bathroom figure, beautiful scene and represents his character more than the hospital figure or Arthur.

That’s him finally becoming himself, scared and afraid, backed against the wall. I think it’s more defining than the moment he shoots the Wallstreet guys, his body just finally hops into the driver seat instead of autopilot if you will, causing him to just dance and let go of his thoughts. Before that he was so worried about finding a spot in his world to fit into and just couldn’t.

He did a lot of dancing. I think they may get carried away with that aspect with Lady Gaga.

I understand the interest in showing an abusive relationship in the 2nd like dealing with metal illness in the 1st, but I hope they don't make it a hallucinogenic musical.

I don’t like the idea of a musical, more interested in a Bonnie and Clyde or Natural Born Killers style film if you have to include Harley Quinn and that relationship dynamic. I’m afraid he’ll be locked up and back to being depressed and has since lost his stride, retreading old ground already covered in the first film, only to have her help him escape his thoughts and imprisonment cliché.

I expect Harley to be the main focus in the film seeing the path all the entertaining media is taking. And a musical on top of that, which I despise. Except for The Fiddler in the Roof, a great movie.

Thought there are musical elements but the movie is not a strictly a musical (in the traditional sense). Maybe I am misremembering.

I say don't jump to conclusions and give the movie a chance - may turn out to be trash, may turn out great.

This is not a direct analogy but many thought Keaton and Pattinson were terrible casting choices for Batman without ever seeing the movie. Mr. Mom and the Twilight guy?!?!? Turned out OK.

Nope, I give up, the more i think the more problems
That’s a bit of a bummer to hear, but it’s understandable.

That would be awful, I’m already not much of a fan of Gaga but had hoped she’ll do a bit of subtle acting here. After the bomb that was Birds of Prey (which I’ve never seen) how could the studios be so tone deaf to think more Harley is the right direction to take, in a film called Joker no less.

I’d like a bit of connective tissue between films to support and reflect the riots he caused, the turmoil built up in Bruce, the continuation of this new Joker persona he’s now adopted, for him to go back into a depressed state seems counterintuitive to the freedom his soul found at the end of the first film.

Yeah, it would be a big dissappintment. But after seeing He-man, Birds of Prey, Rebel Moon, the Marvels, etc., I am afarid it might go that way. I hope it doesn't, but all this political/woke crap is getting annoying. And it is a musical on top of that.

I enjoyed the film and love Joaquin Phoenix’s performance but I just have no desire to own a high end collectible of it. Am I weird?

Found myself hovering over the preorder button for both options and . . . I just can’t do it. First time in a long time I feel like I’m tempted just because everyone else is. I look at those product pictures of all 4 and they’re spectacular, I LOVE the Murray show scene . . . but it’s just not toyetic to me.

Nicholson Joker and Ledger Joker are toyetic and collectible, they both have a Batman, are comic book-y and have all those weapons and gadgets. Very action oriented. Pheonix Joker has way more “teeth” to it. It’s mature, upon watching it again, it makes Nicholson, Ledger and other Jokers look like tame, babified iterations. The mommy issues, the daddy issues, the psychology of the story and character. Murdering a fat man in front of a midget looking very scary with that all white make up and blood splatter. I don’t want that on a shelf.

I just don’t want collectibles of it. Could be a mistake, but I think I’m just going to enjoy all your photos of it from afar while I play with my teenager superhero movie Joker dolls.

It looks amazing but it's just not The Joker to me. The movie is a theoretical origin of a Joker-esque candidate. It was well done. But if they want me to accept he actually IS the Joker the pay-off should be him facing off against Batman and I don't get the impression that will ever happen. He should have been Pattinson's Joker.

Because thats the first time Arthur is embracing the “Joker”. I love that scene.

Yeah for me the bathroom scene is one of the best scenes in the movie.

I'm not really in the market for a Phoenix Joker - I loved the movie, but don't have much of a desire to have a figure from it - but this figure is a pure work of art. If it was available on its own, I might actually be tempted to get it. That last close-up shot looks like a movie still.

Now after writing this post and drooling over these images, I'm actually bummed out that this is not available on its own. Good for my wallet though. :lol
