Heck yeah, back when tv was awesome for kids 🍻 No matter how it is now on YouTube clips, or dvd nothing compared to watching it on television back in the day. Before remotes and my folks would tell me to get up and change the channel 😂 good times

Yeah, the 70s and 80s if I remember correctly. If you missed it you were screwed and had to wait for summer and study the TV guides. I’m not a historian on matter and just going by memory. That was such a longtime ago and I was a kid, so if it started in the 80s my mistake :wink1:

Bionics, Bigfoot, Renagade Aliens bent on World domination, Time-Travel, Global Catastrophe, Exploding Volcano, Miracle Cure, Mind-wipe, Conspiracies... how many plot devices dropped all in one! They don't create sensational set-ups, dialogue and plots in fiction like this anymore.

You can't make this **** up, (oh wait, ...they did!) If I was Oscar I wouldn't have believed him either!:lol Yet my 9 yo brain ate it up.

And part II crossed over with Bionic Woman, so they had to all team-up. This and Bigfoot's epic sacrifice, was the shared U event of the era, over 40 years before Endgame.😂

First release did have an alternate head with exposed bionic eye. Adding a lens through back of his head on that one would be pretty great.
Though always thought having a "laser" eye effect ike in the novels might have made a better toy feature.

In the Cyborg novels, his bionics became linked with his vehicle giving him complete control of it, as if it were an extension of his body.

And a Day of the Robot/Maskatron hybrid figure. including John Saxon likeness, plus all the masks and gimmicks of the kenner figure added.
