Clark is excellent.
But something is off still with the Superman, can't quite pinpoint it.
Maybe the neck is long but agreed something is off

Is the pic from Post #141 the same as the prototype reveal?
Looks slightly different - the original looked more disheveled, almost more like Evil Superman from Part 3 with the 5'o clock shadow. Like the other collector said, something is off with the neck or proportions. Maybe the eyes.
With prior JND statues, they do a pretty good job matching the proto. But I do not recall a case where the final product was significantly better than the proto - slight tweaks here and there. The filler lips on the Platinum JL Wonder Woman seem toned down in the final statue.
They mentioned shortly after the final reveal video and images in one of their "JND News" videos that they felt the sculpt was fine, but the hair was throwing it off; so, only expect the hair to be different in the production piece and not the full sculpt, at least based on those previous comments.

That Clark Kent statue is insanely good. I messaged JND a couple days ago asking what my chances may be to switch my solo CR Superman order to the dual version. Just waiting for their response. Dammit, I should've just ordered the dual to begin with.
You know I think I almost see more Gerard Christopher in the sculpt than Christopher Reeve.
And they really need to fix that S. It's way too perfect and idealized, and is missing that wobbly and uneven look the movie suit had.

I ordered mine and personally I am very happy with how it looks. It always was a dream piece to me and somehow this evaded my attention. Cannot wait and it will look great next to Keaton Batman from Blitzway.

Looking forward to seeing the update. I just hope the final payment isn’t anytime soon given I just paid off JL Superman as well as other POs. Need some time to recover.
Get ready for this. Daniel just announced on the JND Studios Youtube update video #25 that the Reeve Superman portrait has undergone some "Significant changes" and they are doing a mini product "re-launch" next week to showcase it and let people on the wait list (or new customers) have a chance at getting it. Can't wait to see what they've done to it and hopefully it's as good as Clark now. Let's hope that Indiana Jones goes through the same upgrade!

I am terrified of the prospect of a Reeve Superman statue that’s as good as that Clark Kent…
I’ve never owned anything at this price point or this scale, but if anything would ever tempt me, it’s this. The Clark Kent is already flawless and if I was JND, if they kill it with Superman like they did his alter ego, I would waste zero time in scaling everything down to 1/6th and beating InArt and HT to the punch.

Im excited to see these "significant" changes to the CR portrait. I won't be mad if JND starts sending out final invoices but I doubt production pieces are ready, especially if they've tweaked the portrait and doing a mini re-launch. I wanna say this statue will start shipping late Q3 into early Q4.
About the re-launch, fingers crossed JND will allow me to change my order from the single to the dual version

It would make sense to do just that IMO. I'd definitely be interested in seeing their 1/3 statues being scaled down down to 1/6 figures.
