Finally saw the unrated version, dug it! Pretty well done B movie. Had hoped mondo would finish out the year with a pre-order…

''M3gan for Mondo company!
I did paint and hair for figure!''

I think moving eyes is a missed opportunity

MAFEX will release a 1/12 version eventually, for a smaller/cheaper alternative.

Don't show something if it's nowhere near ready to even go up for order. Wish game companies would learn that too. Announce a game and you don't even get to play it until 4 years later.
Agreed, especially with games. It's crazy how games get announced 5 years before we get them.

I might be in the minority but I actually like it when companies (figure, video game or movie) give us an early tease or sneak peek - builds excitement and hype about what’s to come instead of speculating in the rumor mill of will they or won’t they.

The bigger issue is most of these companies don’t anticipate the development hell that sometimes ensues, then follow that up with poor communication and radio silence to the consumer.

With Metroid Prime 4, Nintendo teased the logo in 2016(?) but the project has since been scrapped and changed developers at least a couple times.

In the old days, a game could be developed within 1-2 years but now the projects and teams are so massive, 5+ years is probably the norm for AAA titles.

My bigger gripe is when a figure is teased but never released - Hot Toys is one of the worst culprits (Vulture, Batmobile 66, Millennium Falcon cockpit, Bat Computer, etc. have been locked away in Howard Chan’s personal vault). To be fair, they finally did give us Padme and Cyborg after many years of begging. :lol
