What I wouldn't give for some news on these figures....

So… considering these were originally supposed to be up for PO in march. Are these still being worked on?

They are being worked on, the team is in no rush since the goal is to make them as good as possible. Bodies and parts are already being cast in order to test the rolling eyes, articulation and such.
All of this is so the prototypes can look even closer to the final product and that no major roadblocks are encountered during production, this way the waiting period from pre-order to release will be decreased significantly in the future, there will be longer waiting periods between announcements instead.

Yes indeed Niekgrijz has done a stellar job on that collection. If he sculpted Abby then kudos to ya homey! Nicely done!

I didn’t care as much for part 2. I suppose cause she killed Joel and I did not like the story line at all. Kinda pissed me off to be honest. I’ve played it through twice, which is enough. I have played part 1 more times than I can remember. I started playing that game on a PS3… the remake is phenomenal…holy cow does that game look amazing. So much particle effect etc… I’m a huge fan and loved the HBO Series.

All the sculpts are from Craniac Studios. The part 2 sculpts are directly extracted from the game. The part 1 sculpts were private commissions that are now made available for the public to buy. They were sculpted by their in house sculptor. He is very cheap compared to other sculptors and printers. And not all of his sculpts are perfect, anatomy can be a little off sometimes and they can lack in detail. But the likeness is very good. For $20 a piece I can’t complain.

Someone else commissioned the sculpts for a higher price and I just picked the fruits by waiting until they went public on his website for the regular price lol. I could see myself commissioning the remaining few characters like Sarah and David in the future.

Be wary though, a lot of my sculpts have come with print defects like ugly cracks or lines that will show after theyre painted. Luckily, Craniac offers good customer service and will replace them for you. Hopefully he ironed out those issues by now. I believe he recently upgraded his 3D printer.

Does anyone know where this picture is from? I could only find this thumbnail. Looks like a repaint of the CCtoys Ellie head. I need to find the artist so they can repaint mine. Even in this ****** low quality picture it looks incredible!

I really like LYactionfigurecustom, you can find him on Facebook. Got a few head paints done by him already, great work and the prices are excellent for custom.
