I miss the MR days. They pumped out products like no tomorrow and for the most part they were nice pieces.

Yeah I'm dying to hear news of this helmet. I don't know how they'l pull off of a worthy paintjob en masse though. The MR was an ok paintjob but no where near good enough for the premium figure this helmet will probably sell for.

I believe orders with distributors/dealers go out in the second wave so people who pre-order direct from eFX on the 8th will still get theirs first, in the first wave. Being oversees however it's much cheaper for me to buy within the uk, even if it means having to wait a little longer.

David Prowse was big guy but Vader looks too buff in this piece, his chest in particular is too pronounced under the thick suit and armor.

That's how I feel. It's not the most iconic to most people but to me personally it is one of the absolute best, along with the Stormtroopers, Vader and Boba which I already have. I cannot miss this opportunity.

Can anyone recommend a reputable dealer in the UK (or EU) to pre-order this helmet? Ordering direct from eFX will get crazy expensive with shipping/import tax but the only eFX dealer I can find in the UK is Forbidden Planet, who charge £700+ just for the X-wing helmets!

Did Sideshow offer these shipped from within the EU when they were first released this piece? Im not sure even that would circuvent customs charges though :( Im thinking of getting a combat edition endoskull at least having seen your pics lol
