Doors are still holding up great, sorry it took me so long to respond. Ive added some extra reinforcements to the top shelf of each, which i will add to this post.

I looked for a long time to try and find hinges like that but they just would not be able to hold the weight of the huge acrylic panel I needed. The Acrylic was notched but it was by the company who i bought the panel from. they drilled it and cut out the piece i needed for free.

Good point about 2 huge bases together. They have kept most of their bases very compact for this series so I hope they do the same with Gambit too. I really need a colossus 1/4 (will never buy the original PF) too so I hope SS makes one.

yeah its just particularly noticeable on the shoulders. Makes me want to dig the dirt out with my finger nail LOL. But I bet it looks much better in person and I wont even notice it once its in my display case.

The visor doesnt bother me too much. the brown shading on his yellow straps over his shoulder, just make it look unfinished and takes away from some of the detail. But other than that i love it and I will be buying. It is the best cyclops on the market and will be for a very long time i think.

Yeah, I like smaller footprints. I'm quickly running out of space!

yeah that is why I'm excited for this one. I have the original PF, so I dont need another exact Jim Lee version, just something badass to display with the new rogue.

I'm still thinking price for this will be the same as magneto. I told myself I'm only paying $750 for this, but the more I look at it, there is no way i can really be without it, so I'm really at SS's mercy here.

Since the female reveals are done its time for male reveals (juggernaut and cable aside). I bet they expand on these base themes. I would really love to see more danger room stuff, that is something that hasn't been done yet. And they showed how amazing and dynamic they can make a danger room...

WOW she is an amazing artist. that blade dancer is my favorite and that was done 3 years ago. Wish she could make that into a 1/4 statue.

I have the SS one, love it. I was apprehensive to get it at first because of the fabric coat, but of all the gambit statues I've seen, the fabric actually works really well, compared to the sculpted jackets. I think XM will totally nail this sculpt, but I have the same feeling about the leg up...

I need to start coming to this forum more. Just read through the discussion about Cyclops and I love him and will be getting him, but its nice that people and moderators are ok with talking about other customs compared to this statue. For me this XM cyclops is much better than the customs that...

Someone posted in other forum that this is going to be the first time XM sells something this way. So excited to see how they handle this statue to try and make everyone happy.
