I absolutely love the Alien and this is exactly what I was looking for...except the gigantic base. Seriously, did they really need to make the base over 3" foot tall?

I just cancelled my preorder for the EX. I just noticed the EX being 2,000 and I figured I would eat the NRD and avoid paying CA 9% sales tax. With an ES that high, I will be able to get either the EX or the Regular for less than retail.

This is surprising to me because Shane is usually very friendly and responsive. I wouldn't give up on them yet.
