It doesn't need any. If the "real" Batman was fighting Killer Croc, he would have shading painted on his abdomen. So why would a fully three dimensional statue that casts its own shadows need shading panted on? It makes no sense. In my opinion. YMMV.

Looks GREAT! The pictures show what lighting can do to make natural shadows and how much better they look than painted shadows!

Nice pics. It's a very nice statue, well made, compares well to any SSC PF and has a base that surpasses most SSC bases. The cowl and head is superior to the SSC Batman PF. I passed because I'm not a fan of the costume at all, but if the prices keeps dropping . . .

It seems like a nobrainer for sure, an "easy repaint" to make some more $$$.

Both are distributed by Sideshow, as noted on the images. So it could have easily been done. :slap

I think Batman's head is a bit too big and that makes the figure look short. The "average" man is about seven and a half heads tall. On average, taller people are generally more heads tall (even though their heads might be larger). The Batman figure looks to be about seven heads tall, so he...

Looks very nice. I'm not a fan of how the cape attaches to the cowl, but that's minor. All the extras are nice and almost makes it worth the high price. But I'm passing. If the blue was black though . . .

Sad to hear that some of them are showing up damaged. That happened the first time around too which lead to the scarcity of the statue and a lot of people not getting one even though they ordered it (myself included). I'm happy about the lack of shading on the gray part of the suit. Shadowing...
