Hey thanks for the nice comments everyone! The Dragon figure I used was named "Chris", he was a sniper fig they had. I also used another of the same figure for my custom Boromir, they're brothers after all! :D
Hey everybody, here's a Faramir I made sometime last year. I used a Dragon guy for the base figure. I rooted his head with hair and painted the face, I also made all his outfit. The extended DVDs were very useful for the details. let me know what you think.
It went pretty smooth, although the pages loaded kinda slow and I was'nt totally sure it was working. I sorta expected it to be a little slow with all the orders though, and it did work, I'd say I was done at about 10:12am and was very pleased. Great job to the Sideshow Web Team! Thanks!:peace
Besides the cleft on his chin that appears to be missing, it looks to me like his chin is a little too pointy. It should be a little wider, more "squared" off. I do keep seeing the Ed Harris/Johnny Carson thing. I'd like to see a profile shot though. I know some of us are pretty picky but, we...
It does'nt look like Viggo Mortensen at all. Bummer. I guess he's a hard one to sculpt. I'm sure the rest of him will be cool, but I was hoping for an accurate likeness. :(
Hey everyone, this is my first post on the new site. :) I too am excited about this 12" line, can't wait. I do hope they can use rooted hair on the fem figs though. I don't see how a Eowyn with molded hair would work for instance. Or Arwen, her hair's way too long to be molded. It'll be hard...
