Destro was half off today, so I figured why not for $90. Lots of bashing needed to make him presentable, esp without the exclusive head, but can prob throw something together decent with the extra $70 or whatever I didn't use to buy him. SHRUG.

That Iron Giant fig from Mondo is the only thing that really jumped out from SDCC that I am def buying. Underwhelmed by most everything else, and was honestly surprised nobody balled up and asked a rep there about GI Joe. Was hoping we'd get at least a prototype, but yeah, looks like the doom...

Well I used my $80 in rewards money to pul the trigger on this finally, blaming all the cool pics on that decision.

Absolute last resort. 40% should be a golden ticket, but as is it's barely competing with most of the other parted sites. I get it I guess for older stuff, but $25 for a new release Soldier Story pack? C'mon son etc.

^ Be surprised if that discount lasts. I think their system is automating orders, esp over the weekend. Bruce is a boxed and new item, unless they did po's on a breakdown like TA does sometimes.

Yeah, shipping to the UK is pretty easy/fast actually.

yeah I took another look at the preview pics, and they do use that material, but I'm guessing in post they turned down the shine on those pics a good deal. It's clearly not as highlighted by any natural light as the in hand pics. Oh well, might get bored and order it, but I'm holding on for now.

Right? Saved me whatever it cost, I seriously had it in my cart this afternoon and was ready to pull the trigger. This one was a pretty big letdown.
