His critical and sometimes controversial insight went beyond the silver screen. Loved reading his commentary on society, politics, religion, etc. RIP :(
One thing that bothered me about T3 is that so much of it took place during the day. In the first two films, I liked the feeling of isolation surrounding the main characters during their attempts to run and hide from the baddie when much of the city was asleep.

The burn detail most resembles his make-up from Dream Warriors and Dream Master...which were almost identical molds except he was given a more pronounced chin and hook (witch's) nose for Dream Master.
I'm probably not telling you anything you don't already know, but if I'm not mistaken, the filming of Ripley's chestburster was done some time after the Assembly Cut was put together. I guess this explains the odd shape of Weaver's head in several shots during the finale and in publicity photos...
The dog alien is my favorite, but I don't like how it was depicted in the film. Since Fox apparently shelled out a little bit of cash to have actors redo some of their lines for the Assembly Cut blu-ray, they could've spared a bit more to have a small effects house clean up and properly light...
I understand that it's supposed to resemble a man. It's the "man in a suite" look/pose that I usually don't like about it. A big part of it has to do with a lot of the poses for the various figures. They're rarely ever engaging or dynamic. Often, it's just standing there.
