The photo hides the issues well. The lens material is held on by one blob of got glue and has big gaps around the edge. The snout isn't glued on yet, it's just learning against the helmet. And the rest of the bits that need doing are internal.

Bit late posting this, but after 3 years I finally started on my Chefs Creations Biker Scout helmet kit. Still haven't finished it, need to glue the visor in properly and add tape and velcro, liner and strap, but it'll do for now. I also lost the decals for the face plate so ended up trying to...

Star Wars Man cave / home office

Sorry for the late reply, never got a notification about your post and haven't been on the forum in a while. Looks like I'll need to edit my posts to add the photos in now that Tapatalk is gone. The LED strip I used is this one LED Strip Lights, NOVOSTELLA 12M Tunable White Light Warm White to...

Star Wars Man cave / home office

Most of it is in hard to reach boxes in the attic. Lots of LEGO; although the biggest sets like the UCS Tantive IV, UCS Star Destroyer, UCS X-Wing, Dark Side Destroyer mindstorms, first two Millennium Falcons versions, and a load of others, I had to sell years ago to pay some bills. But still...

Indeed. I have another TIE pilot, another Stormtrooper, and a Sandtrooper Sergeant in a box in the attic too. I do like them, shame there were so few.

Thanks for the comments. :) Added led lighting to the glass cabinets tonight. I went with a warm white / daylight white adjustable strip, it has 720 warm white and 720 daylight white LEDs, with a remote so you can adjust din and bright for each colour. The warm white always look a bit yellow...

Star Wars Man cave / home office

Up until recently all of my Star Wars collection has been in the attic, most of it boxed, some of it on shelves in an IKEA Pax frame, but all of it out of sight. Lockdown and working from home almost all the time now have given me an excuse to turn the spare room into a home office, and some...

    Small beginnings

Yet again I've forgotten to post stuff here, it's been over 18 months since my last confession [emoji14] Been a quiet time for adding to my various collections. For Christmas my wife bought me the United Cutlery The Sword of Bard the Bowman from The Hobbit to go along with my other swords from...

It took a while (just over 3 months) but my RS Prop Masters Hero helmet arrived this week. This will be centre of my display once I sort it out. Second photo is next to my ATA Works stunt helmet. Sent from my SM-A505FN using Tapatalk

Got the Black Series Boba Fett helmet, for the price it's pretty good. Have it sat next to my be Marmit 1/6 Fett figure on my shelf. Sent from my SM-A505FN using Tapatalk

It's a resin that has a bit of give in it. It's not rubbery, but it's also not rigid and brittle like my Doopydoos E-11. Sent from my Moto G (4) using Tapatalk

Almost ready to start another helmet build. This time it's a Chef's Creations Scout kit, hopefully I can keep the visor gap smaller than the EFX :) And I thought it would be rude if I didn't get a blaster to go with it for my shelf. Sent from my Moto G (4) using Tapatalk

    Small beginnings

Time for another update. Over the past few months I've picked up a few more Star Wars related items. After losing or giving away all of my. 70s/80s Star Wars figures back in the 80s when I was still just a teenager, I decided that I wanted to pick up a few Imperials to go with the helmets and...

Got my Hasbro BS Vader today. It's not as small as of expected after seeing lots of photos from others, the mask itself is bigger than the EFX PCR (although the neck is much shorter), the dome is a little smaller buy not by much and is pretty close to the Rubies Supreme dome size. The eyes look...
