MOTU seems as popular as ever honestly. Heck, those sales BBTS and Gamestop had over the weekend of MOTU matty collector stock sold out within hours. Plus we've just gotten Wave 4 of CG revealed and up for pre-order.

Nah and seems like nothing. Somebody asked Val about the audience in the panel videos and he tesponded:

"Someone asked me via Facebook PM why there's so few people in the audience for the panels.

People who were at Power-Con already know, but the camera only shows you the very front of the audience seating and only one side of the room. Also, the front row is the Power Pass row, so those seats are reserved and not always occupied even when the rest of the room was sometimes near capacity.

The panel room could seat around 400 people, and had a lot of people seated throughout the entire room for panels like this one. Heck, for James Eatock's panel, it was standing-room-only."

I can't help but notice the number of audience from the powercon 2018 panel. Is MOTU dead?

Actually this last year is the first year that Val sold out of tickets for the convention - I was at the ticket counter with a friend when he was telling his wife. I do admit that the panels weren't packed in for the ones I attended but they had a decent crowd.

I'd be a bit dubious about the numbers and sales figures. Despite banning many good folks who built that wesbite (including Emiliano and myself) He-Man.org keeps member accounts active to keep their numbers high.

So if any of you here were banned or left there, just know your account is still active.

Folks over there say a lot of things that are not always accurate or true. So take any PR type talks with a grain of salt.

I cannot seem to find any Megacontrux in the UK so I will have to import that Windraider set methinks. Looks very cool.

Even in Canada they're impossible to find. I've had orders on Amazon.ca for months now and they can't obtain stock. Toys'r'Us only ever got Wave 1 and nothing else. Walmart no go. I've had to order them from Entertainment Earth.

I found Mega construx Evil lyn/Man at arms/Wind raider at Walmart (didn't get the 5 pack though because I already have them).

Supposedly Mattel is launching more MC Motu at toyfair and Castle Grayskull will be there (due out MAY 1ST). Hopefully more sets like battlecat, Landshark w/Spikor ,Stridor w/fisto,and more carded figures like Merman,Triklops,Trapjaw. Even a Fright Zone with the Evil Horde would be sweet. Brandon said they have every single MOTU character prototyped. I want them all. Great little figures and they destroy Lego in every way

I've found most of the Mega Construx figures at Walmart, but man you have to hop right on some of them. Teela, for instance, was hard to find. Faker disappeared quick. Beastman has hung around. I don't expect to see the Wind Raider at retail, though.

Oh that's awesome! I tend not to get those sort of toys, but I might make an exception for the Wind Raider. I do enjoy the mini-figures.

Did you guys see the new Supercast? CG Wave 3 and Ultimates on the way to US shores to arrive in early Feb.

CC Wave 3 to be revealed at Toy Fair in Feb and then available in March. I guess the rumor or popular speculation is that it's something to do with the '87 movie?

That seems to be the thinking, since it's something that took a while for them to work on. So either the rights for the 87 movie or technically complicated figures I suppose.

I nabbed Saurod from BBTS during the sale but that was purely based on nosalgia as a kid in 1987 trying to find a figure of that guy, even though I never knew of there was one but was adamant on finding it! LOL Now he could have company.

I would at least expect to see He-man and Skeletor (in the full set of figures sold or as a two pack set)
