The tweaks are indeed awesome but it’s still got that awkward rubbery orange look of the production head . Not Yelim a fault but I wish the owner had asked her to go all the way. I understand from a cost perspective though she rightfully charges a fortune.

If I was the owner of the Yelim tweak up there at the very least I’d hit the head wirh a tamiya dull coat... that should help it.
Did you repaint the head yourself, Raymond?

Everyone talked about the interchangeable arms when this was announced and still no pictures or video of this feature. Baffling.

Every damn time see Ray Liiotta Chantrix cig quiting commercial i see Ray thanking Doctor Lecter to help him quit smoking ha ha.....:slap:horror:lol

So Scarring ha ha...

I will be, i only stripped the head so far. Very happy to see that the Donald trump orange skin tone they had is not the plastic tone but the paint itself as the plastic under it’s a nice base color.Truly a terrible paint job.

Wow, I've never stripped the paint on a figure this size. What did you use to do it?

Someone here I’ll probbsly curse me but I always use goof off to strip paint. I find that nothing else works. I use makeup pads and q tips and very gently rub so not to remove detail from the sculpt on soft plastic. It worked fine for this

Great! Thanks so much, I'll look into this when my figure arrives

I like the sculpt so much more without any paint on it lol.

You can see next to the hot toy sculpt the main issue with the paint are sloppy eyelashes and hairline, but primarily being too shiny and acrylic looking and most importantly far far too orange. If I didn’t have any skills the very least I’d do with this is invest in tamiya dull coat spray, mask off the eyes and teeth ( though the teeth are not glossy enough anyways) and spray it so it doesn’t look as ridiculously shiny and cheap.

Re: Blitzway 1/6 Scale Hannibal Lecter

Just FYI, this stuff is great to remove paint. Just soak the item in it for a few hours....

I used it on vinyl model all the time.

Easy to switch out. Full shoulder articulation, arms static but amazing sculpt detail for arms and hands. See I AM Toys vid for 4k close ups, also someone asked how the arms connect and Chris shows the magnetic sockets in vid too.

Thanks WG, and yes it is now in stock at TW and it was shipped.

As someone who's only really stripped paint from Transformers, I've used high % rubbing alcohol and that worked wonders. Any reason not to use it on 1/6 figures?

Used it on vinyl so I would imagine its ok....
