Re: Untitled 4th Avengers film (May 3rd, 2019)

Yup

Here was Fox formula for 18 years:

Wolverine center of attention
Wolverine gets beat up
Charles and Magneto smirk at each other while millions die
Make Cyclops and Storm boring
Create a timeline not even Einstein could figure out

Rince Repeat :lol

Re: Untitled 4th Avengers film (May 3rd, 2019)

Well hold on chaps. I don't think Fox are getting enough credit here. They did have a franchise in X-men and it has lasted from, what, 2000 all the way up to present with that Phoenix movie, whenever it's coming out. That's almost 20 years. The MCU has only been going for 10.

Can they be blamed for not realizing that they could have linked up their Fantastic Four license with X-men in the days before the MCU made the shared cinematic universe a thing?

Yep. Love that. I won't listen to Agnus Dei without it.

I agree. Whats so bad about the Xmen? They were decent films, even the reboot ones (or prequels). And honestly , along with Sam Raimi, are the reason the MCU exists today.

Without those, no studio would have dared making Iron Man, much less Cap’

Re: Untitled 4th Avengers film (May 3rd, 2019)

I swear if Disney releases the IX trailer in december they officially hate WB with a passion.

The trailers for both Frozen 2 and Episode IX are supposed to hit before the month is over, so it's more apparent now than ever that Disney doesn't give a flying **** about WB's feelings.

On a different note, it was revealed in the Avengers prelude comic that the world refers to Thanos' snap as The Decimation, and that the term should pop up in Avengers 4. Apparently the Avengers have kept the source of the event a secret from the public.

Yes this is true. But they care out at a time when superheroes were new to the GA so they had to be “ realistic” for that time.

X-men wore black leather tactical suits and they played it safe.

Raimi didn’t give a **** and that’s why his films are highly regarded to this day. He embraced what made spiderman special and used the fantasy elements at his best.

Over the yrs we had different styles of Spider-Man films but we always love the raimi films for embracing what made the characters good.

The mcu embraces the characters and makes them modern but at the same time staying true to who they are. No one is on the sidelines. Not even Hawkeye. Everyone has a roll. They don’t try to ground them to be real characters or put one in the forefront .

The xmen are a team not just comprised of wolverine. They have interesting and amazing powers that are never fleshed out and thrown to the side in favor of wolverine. Wolverine is awesome but the others are just as good.

It also doesn’t help that there is no core team either. There isn’t a definite roster since each film one leaves or they change it around.

Yes they were good for what they were and done but it’s time for someone like Disney to take up the mantle. Fox had long enough to get it right but they couldn’t get past the 2000s

Just caught the last 30 seconds of the trailer on a stream. End game is confirmed title.

It ends with Antman outside Cap and Black widow's hideout like he wants to help them or something.

Re: Avengers: Endgame (May 3rd, 2019)

I think the first IW trailer was more hype than this if I'm being honest.

Re: Avengers: Endgame (May 3rd, 2019)

Wow, that trailer hardly gave anything away compared to the first IW trailer. Still hyped.

Re: Avengers: Endgame (May 3rd, 2019)

Amazing. I don't know what else to say other than that. I feel like this will be bigger than the last one.
