New Psylocke PF

Never liked the original WW PF. And I don't like this new Psylocke portrait either.

Love that a new WW PF to my liking is available, but hate that I have to now wait for another Psylocke PF to come along.

I have it. I like the pose and the base, but the face is fairly masculine. The new one is much prettier.

Everything else about that original WW was great. The portrait was the only reason why I didn't get the original WW.

Its all good, tho. Now just waiting on the new one.

Lol I think they've tried to capture her Asian looks in a cartoony way, which doesn't make a lot of sense as it looks awful and also doesn't fit with the rest of the line. However the base never did fit so...

WW was not curvy enough, looked a little like cobie smulders but mostly like a bloke to me

Problem is, this face doesn't look Asian at all (let alone Japanese). I agree with the person above who said it looks more like an alien hybrid.

It's almost borderline Klingon with that frown of hers. I think that has always been the part of the face I hated with either heads.

I don’t think it’s opinions but the lack of orders will determine their next course of action. I remember their Wonder Woman Bvs statue and Deathstroke statue seemed to get discounted pretty quick. I guess cut your losses is their mentality. They still do what they want to do.

People not trusting everything this company tells them is on me? LOL, no it's on the company. If they want to create the reputation of being untrustworthy, that is not on me, that's on them. I frankly couldn't care less what they do with their own image as a company.

And the vast majority of sideshow's customers do not care about your opinion, therefore sideshow do not care. This forum is just a place for some people to air their opinions but to think that it is representative of the opinions of most customers is naive. Sideshow would not still be in business if their decisions were as bad as people on this board make out.

Please don't think I'm a sideshow fanboy as I personally hate the new psylocke head and a lot of their artistic direction. I have also just received my first 1/3 scale piece from prime 1, and it will be the first of many.

However ss still have a place in the market and it's naive/egotistical IMO to think their business decisions are based on this forum or that they have a bad reputation with most of their customers

2. If you think for one second that they don't read these forums along with Facebook and Instagram, you're completely ignorant. Why do you think Magneto was given as many tweaks as he got after SDCC 2017? Because of the negative reactions. Why do you think Psylocke's SDCC portrait was flat out removed? Because of negative reactions. Why do you think they went in and altered the new Green Lantern's light structure arm? Because of negative feedback. I could continue on with other examples, but you don't care, so why should I?

To me that looks no better or worse than the current portrait. I still like the original, but I think that if the current portrait was what was initially released, and it was then switched to the "other" one people would have the same reaction regardless of comments as to what looks feminine/masculine, Asian or Anglo.



She still look good in that shot...
