Even with the aggressive acquisition of licenses, $2 mil. is more than adequate for a start-up of this nature and would still allow for paying all the artists. Unless you're taking a really, really comfortable salary for yourself.

Key part of your statement - Greed probably find it paid for his move and a nice place in L.A.

The last couple years, it's been tough to pick a Worst Company of the Year when I do my annual awards. Looks like that won't be an issue for 2018.

How the f does this guy expect to get away with all these? This should be made known to as many Beatles and Lennon fans, 1/6 collectors and related industries as possible. He can't possibly hide forever.

Well, damn - $2 Million??
He got to play with $2 million of other peoples money?
Starting to think he was the only sane one in all of this.
Anyone want to give me $2 million? I have a great idea for a new kind of teapot... only it’s made of chocolate.

Willy Wonka CONFIRMED! Take my money!!!!!

No doubt Vijay will just hide what's left of the $2mil and declare bankruptcy, if he hasn't spent it all on first class trips to Korea and China etc.

Fraud or not wished I got Lennon even though I have no interest at all his value gonna hit the roof due to the 1st and last figure of John we'll ever get.
I couldn't pull the trigger with everything I saw re: the production figure. Love Lennon, but I don't love sub-par figures.

Clipper was banned here, he's already planning his return to tell us off...just be prepared lol.

Guys this was a podcast interview with Vijay

Very Interesting what he told the interviewer
1 year ago about his plan...the more you listen
to this podcast, the more you realized how
convincing the guy can be. The guy is “selling
you “ throughout.

Vijay can be a Sales Coach ..
I can see why Artist, investors and suppliers
gravitate toward him.

I remain perplexed that this figure was ever released. It really is the biggest head scratching part of all this, that something was delivered. I feel awful that people have had their lives wrecked by all this. No part of this ever made any sense, and was pointed out numerous times from the beginning. Piling up licenses with no product, pie in the sky delivery dates, impossible endo's, it just all added up to a very strange combination that was hard to be believed. Then an actual product arrived, and I thought, well, guess Wonka might exist one day as well. Who knows how many Lennon's they sold, the entire thing is strange. I guess the factory got paid. Beyond that, with sales and seed money, that is a lot to blow through. The sales tactics were pretty smart though, and they continued to cultivate the Beatles community once the figure collectors started bugging out and their paypal got turned off. Really makes you wonder how many people ordered that won't see anything either, or even know about any of this.

The fact that Vijay wasn't paying people from the start is pretty clear evidence this was always a scam.

I had no idea he had $2 million in outside investment. I was assuming he had some start up capital, but was essentially going to be making his money off of sales. Of course I always try to assume honorable intent and the guy was actually trying to establish a company, but bilking investors, shirking accountability and basically going on the run is a different story. He has left a trail of broken bodies in his wake which is a real shame. I feel terrible for all involved. To be honest I'm surprised a figure was even produced, but he probably needed to keep up the charade.

Seeing how this has played out I am satisfied with my decision to not purchase this figure and moving forward, as a long-time Lennon fan, I would not touch this figure for any amount of money. It will never be in my collection.

I don't think Vijay was just a guy that got over his head or caught a few bad breaks. He was unethical from the beginning and was hoping that he would get away with it. He flat out LIED...

Of course he was (a scammer). The few here who think otherwise are delusional or haven't been on this planet very long. Vijay's own history tells warns -- never holding a position longer than a year for over 10 years. There's no excuse for huge and ridiculous promises made other than upfront lies. If he was ever legit, where was the attempt to explain himself or the situation? Why not reach out to the community with an explanation instead of cherry-picking reviews and comments?

And for those still wondering why he even bothered to deliver a few figures -- he did it to avoid clear fraud and serious litigation. I'm sure he counted on making more money on Wonka preorders than he lost making his 300 or less Lennon figures to appease the Lennon estate. What was his actual cost for those figures anyway after cheating so many -- $60 a figure?

I'd would be cool if the community could start a go fund me like someone suggested to show some love to K.A few $$ is nothing and given how many of us wanna show support it will soon rack up.

She's given so much too us guys it would be cool to give something back just a thought. :dunno

The interesting I discovered was that he was taking PO for Travis from no more hero's but you could only access the link via googling it. It wouldn't show on the site but it gave you the option to PO it. :slap

As for Wonka I did speak to Mike Hill very briefly and he wasn't aware of the situation so another artist named thats be linked and probably gonna take a bit of a hit.

At this point, the worse news that could come
out of this are the heads are recast by Redman
or someone who get a hold of the head in a
factory in China.

KA Kim is a genius and my favorite sculptor...that said she is a working professional and will probably be ok...it's terrible when artists get scammed but probably won't be the last time...but if you want to send her a check you should go for it. You should also send her a photo of the charred and broken remains of your Lennon figure as a true show of solidarity :)
