Is it possible SSC thinks that it would soften the blow if they remove the X-23 pages for a week ...and then bring the pages back with X-23 labelled as a Maquette?

I, for one, hope not. Otherwise, they'd be insulting our intelligence.

What puzzles me is when they send an email saying they've found some stock in the back of their warehouse. Recently they sent one showing a few available statues like the old Harley quinn premium format exclusive! I was thinking someone got a great deal for that as it was going for their original retail price but where do they get them from?

I always wondered the same thing. Maybe they have a pretty large warehouse and it was misplaced at one time. Or maybe they have some returns (my fear).

Regardless, every time I seem to go to the page for one of their "last chance" items, the item is sold out again. It is interesting though - they always list existing alternatives which sometimes makes me think they don't have any in stock and they are using it as a way to sell other items (although that belief is probably paranoid ).

The problem with Returns is that I wouldn't be surprised if some of them were actually returned just because of a 'change of mind' rather than a true defect to the piece.

There have been so many times that I remember reading on this forum (especially from those based in the USA for some reason) were they state that they don't want the piece anymore, but still go ahead with the preorder and end up returning the product because of various reasons (excuses) ranging from discrepancies to the prototypes, to a small defect that otherwise would've been ignored by most collectors, except for the reason that they didn't want the piece anymore.
