Re: Hot Toys Episode 3 Anakin

Got Anakin last week from a fellow freak. I absolutely love this figure. Here are some eh quality phone pics. The sunlight illuminates his face in a nice way though.

One per shelf.....so beautiful :rock

Re: Hot Toys Episode 3 Anakin

Thanks for the kind words guys. I didn't know what to do with the cloak, so I thought to drop it behind him like the scene.
That is some quality futzing of his outfit. Well done!

Thanks man! Yeah it wasn't too bad out of box, but I did undo the belt and line up the vest a certain way. That pose (with Dooku's saber), from the original promo images HT released, is what made me want to buy it. Had to pose it the same way.

Inspired to change his appearance. Wish I had the Dark Side version sometimes so I could do the cloak on or off.

Great pose! If I were to use the cloak, I would do it like that. I'm not fretting about the dark side look. He only has those eyes for a grand total of like 7 seconds. I like the regular sculpt better as it's more versatile.

I just watched ROTS in its entirety for the first time in years, and damn, it's a fine movie!
Yeah, I know the acting's a bit dodgy in some parts, and some of the CGI is a bit dated, and the final third is a bit choppy... but it really is a great movie.

Anyway, back to the figure...
One of HT's best, indeed. Surprisingly, I keep mine with the oft-maligned robe on, the length (or lack thereof) doesn't bother me, and Anakin looks appropriately menacing with it.

Yes it's easily my favorite SW film. The opening is fantastic and it really goes 1000% in the awesome department once Anakin confronts Palpatine. After that, it never slows down until the credits roll.

To be fair, all of the films had some dodgy acting and lines, but I can look past them and really appreciate what George was doing. Man I miss him. I'll never feel hype for a movie ever again like I did with RotS.

Re: Hot Toys Episode 3 Anakin

Has anyone made a custom Ahsoka on these boards? I’m looking to put one together as a companion to Anakin and would like to see some other inspiring works.

Great shot! Cool sense of motion in the shot with the cloak "dropping" off the shoulders...well done!

Thank you good sir! Fun to go through old publicity shots and try to mimic the pose. Unable to capture the wind effect but still a cool pose.
